Pleasant hotel in the new town within walking distance of all the sights and beaches. Decent pool but limited sunbeds and shades, probably because the sun doesn't shine over the whole pool area in October so much of it remains in shade all day. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Budget hotel clean

Good hotel for an overnight staying. Friendly staff, nice restaurant with decent food. Reception and restaurant area looks modern, but room is bit out dated. Good location, as it is walkable distance from Rhodes old town & Elli Beach. It can be noisy though as it is located in a busy road.

Overall not a really unpleasant stay, but where the hotel got ots 4 stars from I'll never know

Breakfast buffet had a good variety. Room was spacious. Convenient to walk to water or town. Pool was a good size. Construction noise from next door is a downside. We couldn’t use the balcony since pigeons made a terrible mess on the chairs and balcony: they slept at night on top of the AC unit above our balcony. Pillows were very firm.

Good food and polite friendly staff. Room service was non existent, we had to constantly ask for clean towels and fresh toilet roll. We only stayed 4 days but would expect a room clean and towel swap at least once. The room didn’t have enough beds and towels despite the booking saying 4 People. This was sorted out but a sign of things to come. The air con unit back siphoned into the room due to the condensing hose been placed in a plastic bottle instead of being piped up correctly. It may seem trivial but the leak was over a case full of clean clothes we then had to dry out.

Pool was great, central location

Not a Boutique Hotel but a tired and drab hotel. Clean and good location. Misleading info: offers parking included but really means find street parking; offers soundproofed rooms but they are really loud and noisy on the street. Otherwise functional and clean, with friendly staff. But there are plenty other better options around.

Hotel was situated in a good area. Very central, breakfast was pretty average. Hotel staff miserable and wasn’t allowed to bring a guest into the hotel even for a drink in the lobby. Wouldn’t use again!

Excellent location, 5 mins walk to the ‘windy beach’ 10mins walk to the ‘calm beach’ Restaurants bars 2 mins away. Rooms very basic but clean, we upgraded to a junior suite, not really worth it, shared balcony no view. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Maps in the reception was a nice touch.

Everything was fine, tidy, cean, and staff very friendly and helpful. Place just needs to be renovated a little.

Excellent value. Noticed extensive refurbishments since previous stay three years ago. Very pleasant en suite bedroom and extensive buffet breakfast. Highly recommend despite having to seek out night manager to sign us in when we arrived shortly after midnight!

Great morning a la carte breakfast buffet. The low-lighting throughout the building is a bit off-putting. Was a bit intimidating on first arrival.

The location is absolutely brilliant. Within 5 minutes you can walk to the harbour, train station, old town, new town or sea front where there are lovely restaurants shops and bars in the old town and at the harbour. The staff of Anphitryon hotel are lovely and really helpful. The breakfast and the breakfast manager staff are great. The Air conditioner in the bedroom is brill.

The staff at check-in was unknowledgeable and was unable to answer questions regarding the surrounding areas. The room was cold and the air conditioner/heating unit does little to heat the room. The water is lukewarm at best and not nearly good enough for a cool December evening. There was a questionable stain in the sofa bed. The wifi is poor and we were told at the beginning that in-room wifi would be extra. This was later waived. The hotel did make an effort to improve towards the end by sending someone to the room for cleaning. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent.

This hotel is the perfect place right in the city center! You are a five minute walk to the beach or Old Town Rhodes. The rooms are comfortable and serve your needs. The breakfast was great and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating! There is free WiFi in the common areas, but you have to pay extra to have it in your room. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location, hotel facilities were very good. Having a pool made the stay more enjoyable for the kids. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
