We stayed at Nightcap Ferntree Gully for 2 nights because of Puffing Billy Railway and it was amazing! I think out of our 10 accommodations during our Melbourne-Adelaide road trip, this is the most advanced stay—the only gated one which we found so cool! We got there pretty late after reception hours, so the process is from the office right by the gate, you will see another building a bit of the drive on the right side which is like the casino area, that’s where you will get your access card! Yes, the reception will ask for a credit card. The best part is we had the room on the ground floor and our parking is right in front of the room which was very convenient for us to drag & repack our big luggages 🥹❤️ The room is equipped with a mini fridge, kettle, iron & board! Regarding cleanliness, it was very clean but I found like spider webs on the ceiling but we didn’t mind—the floor and the area itself are very well kept! It looked gloomy at night, but right next to the motel is actually a school!
