The staff was super helpful and the hotel was very clean and beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. Valet parking was included and was very convenient. The location was right in downtown and had easy access to food, shopping, and tourist spots.

Very good hotel

We made a good choice to stay here. The hotel is centrally located in the historic part of town near all the shops and restaurants. It was very easy to walk around the town and see all the interesting museums and palaces. We had a long international flight which meant we arrived at the hotel very early after little sleep overnight and luckily we were able to check in to our room straight away which was much appreciated. The breakfast was good with lovely fresh fruit, roll and cake available. We enjoyed our stay here very much

This hotel made my visit to Brazil an excellent experience.

Me and my Partner Eric spent some nights at the Grande Hotel Petrópolis during a random holiday weekend. Pleased to say that these place is really good, very good breakfast, confortables beds, excelent location and the restaurant is also a plus! Would totally recommeded and also repeat our stay, very charming and confy place!

The hotel is historical. Its worth staying here. The outside looks quite grand. The bedroom was not so grand. It was nice enough, but they could invest in soft cotton sheets and perhaps shave the door so it doesn't stick as you try and close it. The people are friendly and services seemed good. Breakfast was decent, perhaps more cleaning of the sandwich machine and more space might be advantageous.

Boa localização

A entrada (da rua do hotel) não condiz com o mesmo. Assim que você entra no hotel se sente muito bem, aconchegante e tudo muito bem cuidado. Os funcionários(as) são muito atenciosos, o quarto é muito confortável. Ficamos no 5º andar (o elevador é rápido). O café da manhã é servido no 1º andar e muito delicioso. O único porém é que estava friozinho e a água do chuveiro estava morna, poderia ser um pouco mais quente. Ponto positivo, tinha guarda malas (grátis) após o check-out e pudemos ainda dar uma voltinha. Recomendo muitíssimo!

Bom custo/beneficio. Conforto no quarto triplo.
