Quiet, clean, well equipped! Would have appreciated access to Foxtel!

Lovely cabin

This is always our "go to" in Tin Can Bay - central to everything - self contained - clean and tidy. The service from the staff is always top notch. The outside of the buildings are mouldy but inside is fine. The only disappointing thing is the old pub next door. Such a shame that it is so run down and dirty - it could be a real draw card for tourists and locals alike.

Nice clean property with friendly staff.

Super clean and cozy room, the proprietor was friendly and helpful even though we arrived late. We only were in town for one night but wouldn't hesitate to recommend this motel.

Fantastic place, friendly helpful staff. Steve & Ryan were lovely to deal with and even a late arrival wasn’t an issue

Perfect stayed in this hotel.

This was our second stay at Tin Can Bay's Sleepy Lagoon Motel in less than a month. Our first stay was over NYE and there was local 8.30pm fireworks the reserve directly across the road which was a lovely surprise. Tin Can Bay's Sleepy Lagoon Motel is great accommodation choice for a young families as the rooms are comfortable, have a kitchenette and air-conditioning. It was a convenient place to stay being next door to an old fashioned Aussie pub, across the road from a recreational reserve great for a ball game and for the kids to run around, it's a short drive or walk away from the town centre and shops, and is close to other parks, waters edge and 4 minute drive or an easy 20 minute drive to the dolphin feeding. The property was maintained, safe and has several sitting areas and 2 BBQ's. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Very recommended 😊

Able to cater for a group of 14

Nice littel spot for a couple of nights. Pub next door is pretty dated with a fiar bit of work needed on the building, but staff were very friendly, drink was reasonably priced and the food was good. If you want 5 star then stay away, but for people wanting somewhere easy to go on foot from the motel, the pub is perfect.

The cabin was very clean. The office staff very friendly. The close proximity to everything. The grounds were beautiful including bbq area. One night only we had to park out on the street as all parking bays were taken in front of our cabin. No big deal but prob could do with parking numbers for cabins. All in all a wonderful 3 day stay. Thank you sleepy lagoon

Would stay again. Clean, comfortable quiet. easy check in and check out.

Nice and very clean and tidy, a beautiful well maintained garden surrounds the cabins, quiet and private, welcoming staff, close to amenities close to dining options

Only complaint we had was that there were a few men at the BBQ at 5:30 am talking and laughing loudly

Didn’t receive from the manager the warmest of greetings on check in, his sole intent seeming to be to ensure we checked out on time. When I eventually found the voucher number for wi-fi - tucked between two business cards - the code number provided proved to be out of date. We were also woken at 2am by the thumping and the thumping sound of a child jumping and running around the adjacent unit squealing. This went on for some considerable time. Jammed my shin on the sharp edge of a bed causing bleeding, which didn’t improve the experience. Stayed at this establishment a number of times, it being our over nighter of choice when we go to Tin Can Bay to play golf. This experience however will prompt us to consider alternatives for our next trip.
