Our favorite hotel in Mexico City, by far! The location can’t be beat, included breakfast was amazing, and the cafe with complimentary sandwiches, beer, coffee, etc. is an incredible benefit! Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent service and comfortable room. The cherry on the cake was the free 24hr snacks and beer at Cafe Central. Definitely retuning in a couple of weeks.

Highly recommend Zocalo Central. It’s very convenient and close to the historical highlights. But then the staff makes it even more better . All the way from concierge, reception, bell hop, coffee shop, Balcon Zocalo staff, cleaning crew, etc. We’re just blown away… Will definitely come back.

We had a great experience at Zocalo Central Hotel. Beautiful hotel, nice bedding and super comfortable mattress. Balcony del Zocalo was the best restaurant in the town and sandwiches available 24/7 for free. Can’t say enough good words about this hotel.

Service was amazing! The staff was so nice from the moment you arrive until the day of departure. The cafe was a unexpected plus! We knew we had coffee and some soft drinks included, but didn’t expect the cafeteria food and some alcoholic beverages were included in that too. That was amazing! Totally recommend!

With only a few properties on the Zôcalo, Hotel Zócalo Central has the perfect location to access everything you want in central CDMX. The staff is 100% amazing. It would be an injustice to single out any one person because each of them was special. Our house keeping made us feel like this was our home; the front desk helped with any trivial detail without feeling like an inconvenience; the Central Cafe (open 24 hr/day) were fantastic for speed and charm. 2 notes about the restaurants: INCREDIBLE food, but Balcón de Zólcalo is not part of the hotel, so you can’t charge food to the room. The breakfast buffet was not worth the price, but has charming views.

Our stay at Balcón del Zócalo exceeded every expectation. The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Mexico City’s Historic Center, with breathtaking views of the Zócalo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. The rooms were beautiful, spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail reflected the hotel’s commitment to quality and guest comfort. The restaurant was outstanding. The food was creative, delicious, and beautifully presented. Dining on the rooftop terrace while overlooking the Zócalo was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Every meal was an unforgettable experience. What truly made our stay special, however, was the exceptional hospitality. Every member of the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making our visit memorable. A very special thank you goes to Eduardo, the hotel manager, whose outstanding leadership and genuine kindness made a lasting impression on us. He went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. His attention to detail, professionalism, and sincere care for his guests are a true reflection of the hotel’s excellence. Eduardo is a tremendous asset to Balcón del Zócalo, and we are deeply grateful for everything he did to make our visit so enjoyable. Excellent hotel, we chose a small room, but size didn’t matter. Room has high height and windows. The terrace with breakfast was wonderful. Service was impeccable. The tidbits at the bar downstairs, free and 24 hours, was a terrific service. No doubt in Centro this is the best hotel and location is spectacular, close to everything.

The overall services were excellent. I do highly recommend it. The clean room and the staff were outstanding. Your breakfast buffet and your snack bar provide excellent service and great tasting food. I do plan to return. Thank you!!!!

The hotel was referred to me by a friend and it is a great property. We knew it was in the middle of Zona Central and the surrounding area would be crowded. The hotel is right where you want to be to walk to everything. The rooms were comfortable with street views from our deluxe king and interior views from the queen bed rooms. The cafe for a quick bite or drink is very helpful and the breakfast upstairs was delicious with a great view of the Zocalo. The staff was helpful and attentive, but I didn't get the iron I requested on the 2nd to last day - I survived. I don't think I noticed any noise bleeding into the room from the outside or hallway. I want to thank Rosa for keeping our rooms clean and ready for us to relax at the end of the day. We had a birthday dinner for six at the Balcón del Zócalo and were impressed with the food and service. It is a higher end restaurant so be prepared to pay more than the local restaurants, but it was worth it. The staff was very attentive. The view was awesome. The food was great, beef cap tacos with chorizo, the charbroiled octopus and the Totoaba fish were standout main dishes. The fact that it was in the hotel made having a few drinks, which were made well, easy to rationalize. I highly recommend the Zocalo. It was our families first time to Mexico City and it was outstanding. Your hotel plays a lot into your experience and the Hotel Zocalo helped ours to be very memorable.
