The room was simple, practical, and reasonably spacious, with a warm and slightly classic hotel feel. I liked the wooden furnishings and the overall layout, as there was enough space to keep my belongings without making the room feel too crowded. The bed was comfortable enough for a longer stay, and the room was a good place to come back to and rest after being out during the day. Since I stayed for several days, I also had the chance to experience the hotel beyond just a one-night visit. What I appreciated was that the room remained practical for everyday use — there was a proper work/desk area, tea and coffee facilities, a mini fridge, and sufficient storage space. The hotel is also conveniently located for getting around Ipoh, making it suitable for both short visits and longer stays. It is not the kind of hotel that tries to impress with an overly modern or luxurious concept, but rather a straightforward hotel that provides the essentials for a comfortable stay. For a 6-day stay, I found that practicality and comfort mattered more, and Seemsoon Hotel served that purpose well. The room was very bad. The mattress was very thin—you could really feel the springs. The walls were dirty and had visible stains. The toilet was also in terrible condition—the walls were grimy, and the toilet bowl had yellow stains that wouldn't come off even with scrubbing. I definitely won't be booking this hotel room again. The hotel should upgrade the room facilities.

The hotel is okay. The price is very reasonable. The room is old, but still comfortable to stay overnight. The parking lot is also spacious. No need to worry about parking everywhere. It's worth it for what you pay.

The hotel is quite decent, an old hotel; however, the price is very reasonable. Got hotel parking in its own area, no issue coming late for check-in. The facility was just basic as a 3-star hotel. The cleanliness 3/5. The room [is a] little bit old; however, still okay for a normal stay. The TV only got not more than 5 basic channels. The location [is] within the city area, old town Ipoh. Very suitable for a business trip with a tight budget. Not really for family holiday purposes. High building so [a] nice view from [the] hotel room. Tqvm.
