Every staff member was beyond nice and super helpful.

Nice friendly staff the room was nice basic breakfast the dinner was average free carparking nice swimming pool and spa was cold not heating up sauna and steam room was working.

I stayed for two nights. The room was comfortable and yes the furniture was a little dated in it but it didnt matter as I was out most of the time. Bathroom was good. I had a meal in the bar area and I was well looked after by lovely staff. Meal was tasty, hot and came quite quickly. I used the swimming pool and sauna plus an early morning pilates class. Everything was good. I suppose an available timetable of what was on would have been useful and it being made clear what was included for guests. Everything was included. Breakfast was very ordinary but I am sure people would find things to suit.

The Spa rub and swimming pool were extremely cold. The Pool, sauna and steam room requires some TLC.

Good amenities but a bit run down and old

The good bits: Room was a good size, bed was comfy, as we're the pillows and everything was very clean. Breakfast time booked to avoid overcrowding, function room activities couldn't be heard from the bedrooms. Not so good bits: window was edged with green growth externally, bathroom mirror lights not working, dated shower fitting over the bath. Hospitality tray ok, usual choice, breakfast not very inspiring and not very warm. Carpets in communal areas showed signs of damage and were stained in parts. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a decent enough place but not overly impressed especially as the pool and spa access is outside the hotel - not great on a cold and windy evening

The spa was very relaxing. The bubble pool water could have been warmer though.

Only problem was getting to the room which involved climbing stairs but once there it was great. Superb gym available and good sized pool. Would definitely consider trying here again.

Room was clean and fine for a single person.staff were all friendly and the breakfast was good.the leisure centre has a good pool with sauna and steam room.just off the motorway with a good car park.its a bit dated but clean.its needs clearer signage on the landings

Unfortunately the hotel is starting to get a little dated. The room we stayed in had a few faults. The radiator valve was broken and I had to improvise to keep the room at a good temperature. The taps/faucet were hanging loose into the sink and the shower was unusable as it could only deliver very hot water. Although reported on the first morning they weren't fixed for our next day and no alternative was offered. Luckily we had other options so worked around it fine, but I was disappointed with the handling.

The whole Hotel is looking tired and dated and a little bare. It looks and feels more like an old Travelodge than a Spa Hotel. Breakfast was mediocre and we had to asks for fresh pastries as the ones out were stale. Staff did the job but no information was offered at Check-in we had to find out the location of the restaurant and dining times ourselves. The room was spacious and clean but a long walk from reception.

woken up multiple times during the night by loud sounds of people unloading a dishwasher or something similar. Also the plug in the bathroom was making a ridiculously loud gurgling sound
