I booked this place because I was traveling with my dog Unfortunately I didn’t book the correct room. The staff rang me to confirm and I was able to get the room. The staff also contacted me to make sure I would check in on time on my day of arrival. This is great service. The room and location are fine The bed is comfortable and the room is located on the ground floor for easy access to pool and garden area I has nothing but a great experience here and a warm good bye as I left I think some of the negative reviews your dad is more about the people than the staff Enjoy your visit

We had a very pleasant stay even though the motel was fully booked out (there may have been a lawn bowls comp on up the road). It didn't deter us from enjoying our night at the motel. Very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Love the canvas of the lighthouse in reception (that lighthouse is five minutes drive from the motel). We'd be keen to come back in the summertime to make use of the pool area. Thanks again!

The Ballina Homestead Motel has everything I needed, from the friendly service upon arrival to the large, neat and well-appointed room. Its also very well-located in the heart of town.

Our unit was spotless, convenient location, staff were wonderfully welcoming and efficient. Onsite cafe serving excellent breakfast and great coffee.

Clean, attention to detail with the little things. Check in was easy and ample space. Noise at night from others moving around the property, but that’s a guest thing, not a motel thing so over all, super impressed.
