Love this hotel , stay here often, lovely rooms , quiet position, only downfall is the wi fi signal in certain rooms is not very good, otherwise great place.

Beautiful location in Cheshire. Hotel had old fashioned charm but some room facilities were not suitable for older guests.

The staff were very professional and yet warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

Very nice hotel. We had a lovely room called the Chestnut 3rd floor in the eaves of the hotel ,very nice until a massive spider dropped from the eaves I couldn't rest then in case there was more, i'm not a lover of spiders. We had a nice afternoon tea. Nice surroundings.

Nice venue and friendly staff. Unfortunately wife was ill but staff really helpful and accommodated our needs, which was really appreciated. We plan to visit again to really appreciate venue, staff and location.

I had a large comfortable room with a spacious bathroom. Dinner was very good. Breakfast somewhat disappointing. Nice setting

Beautiful hotel in breathtaking setting. Very pleased with the room, facilities, staff and overall stay. Problem with attention to cleanliness. We stayed in Labernum room and thick dust in the top of the radiator set off a runny nose allergy. This could be hoovered out but clearly never done. Also mould on the seals of the shower screen and round bath plug hole. Also in bar area there were cobwebs and dead flies in the chandelier and there were cobwebs in the ceiling atriums in the corridors. This is disappointing to see in a hotel of this nature.
