The room was air-conditioned once we arrived. But it was different to control the temperature with the remote. The curtains once pulled closed shon street lights through the top opening all night and day. So difficult to sleep. We left before 10am our first day and put the sign out for our room to be cleaned and when we returned at 2pm nothing was done. The blanket was not warm. We had to us our own blankets we had because we had driven up from Brisbane. There was no spare toilet paper only the roll on the dispenser. Otherwise clean and tidy little room.

For our 5 day stay the Stirling was well located for everything on our agenda, clean and with an attached restaurant.

We booked this hotel as the reviews on the cleanliness was excellent. This did not disappoint. Very clean and big shower and bathroom. Clean kitchenette with microwave. Bedding clean. The slight letdown, The tv was not able to use as smart tv although it was on the screen. The air con was old and sounded like a jet tacking off and rumbled all night. We had our door open at 7am by someone, unsure who but it was locked so only someone with a key! It scared us and my partner jumped up and yelled out as my son was crying from This. A table and chair outside upstairs would be lovely also to see the view. Few improvements.

We checked in at exactly 2pm. At the moment we opened the door, the room smell so good and it smell so clean. The AC was turned on too which was really great because it was a hot day. Receptionist was so friendly and approachable. We had a great stay at this hotel. Will surely book here again.

Food at restaurant was great with equally great service. Polite, friendly, efficient staff.
