The Jupiter is in a very good location an while it is on a busy roadway it was really quiet at night The reception staff re lovely and helpful and the ocean view room was a delight to wake in

The breakfast was great and the dinner was also well worth going down for. Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff.

The room and the entire hotel were freshly and tastefully modernized. Every inch was spotless. The breakfast was ok but abundant. Not being a European the choices were much different than one would expect from a US restaurant. An omelet chef would have been a good option. The weather in mid May was much cooler than we anticipated. The hotel was just across the street from a very large sandy beach. The pool was nice and a pair of lounge chairs were always available with an umbrella. Many reasonably priced food options were available on the street directly in front of the hotel. The street was largely closed to non essential vehicle traffic making a stroll to find your choice of bar restaurant or gelato shops easy to walk to. The area was very relaxing. Not a place I would recommend for nightlife.

The breakfast menu had a large variety of fruit, pastries, cheese, casserole dishes, eggs, cereals, yogurt,pancakes, bacon, sausages, quiche, fresh juice, coffee selection. We had emphasized the importance of a good beach view to us and the view from our balcony was excellent. The Bar also had a good light menu when we weren’t hungry for a big neal.

lots of choices for breakfast pool area could have been made more attractive with some planters - it was spring bit we saw other hotels with attractive surroundings bird droppings were evident and didnt see any staff cleaning the area daily

Great stay

Very central location in Praia da Rocha and a major pit stop for taxis, tour buses and the Portimao bus service. The heated indoor pool with a retractable dome type roof is a must if you are an avid swimmer in the winter months. The hallways have motion activated lighting which is very green and excellent for energy conservation and the broad top to bottom glass windows plus the location of the hotel on a hill makes for good natural lighting during the day.

The breakfast was exceptional! So many choices and good quality. The staff were very helpful and the room was very clean. It was more than we expected and a great value.

The breakfast staff was a bit too strict, almost, discourteous and tried to push people out exactly at the end of the breakfast hour. I’ve never experienced that before. Not a very pleasant experience! One lady with three little children was not allowed to enter because she was a couple of minutes late.

The hotel is very clean and modern. The breakfast was delicious and the staff ensure the food is well stocked. The room was clean and the balcony overlooking the beach was so lovely. Only issue is there is a lot of street noise late at night, however, once you close the balcony door, it’s very quiet.

Great position as in the resort with wonderful views of the beach. We were fortunate as at the time the World frisbee championship were taking place, with over 2000 competitors making a great atmosphere. However we went in November and it rain and wind storms were so bad, most of the time we were stuck in the hotel with little to do. Thankfully we had a balcony where we spent most of our time reading books, when the storms allowed. The buffet restaurant was well stocked but the food quality was poor, though the bar was good.There was entertainment on but only briefly. So overall the hotel is good , but we won't return.

Great staff and ocean view room was perfect. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Garage is very small and be sure to reserve if you need parking. Also, entrance is not accessible by car. Call ahead for instructions.

Location near the beach, along the main strip in Praia da Rocha with downtown locations within walking distance. Local transit and Uber/Taxis readily available. All staff with whom we interacted were calm, friendly and helpful. Luggage storage prior to our room being available was offered and managed very well. Front desk staff also helped to set up a cruise for us - perfectly aligned with what we were looking for, they took care of all the arrangements including pre-payment and set up a shuttle from the hotel to the tour launch location and return to the hotel afterwards - super simple! The room was clean, everything worked including the air conditioner. Breakfast spread was enormous with a wide range of options, for us included oatmeal, fruit, nuts, seeds, juices, and bottomless expresso machine coffee. The pool water was warm and refreshing.

I very much enjoyed my stay here! The hotel is immaculately clean and seems like it was updated very recently. Very comfortable beds. lovely spa. The front desk was very helpful in helping me book tours which I really enjoyed. It is very centrally located as well which was nice for exploring.

The location is across the street from the ocean. The hotel lobby is well laid out, spotless and bright. The dining room staff operates like an orchestra of efficiency. The quality and choices of food in the dining room are great. My room was small and I would recommend a larger room for two people.
