Staff is rude. Beds are horrible. 3 single beds strapped together STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

beach front hotel, literally the dining room is 3 meters fromthe beach. Lots of restaurants and ahops nearby and 5 minute walk from the Abrao pier. The swimming pool was closed due to renovations. Breakfast was good, wirh delicious tapioca pancakes made to order, fresh fruit and lots of cakes. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.

This place has terrible customer service. The hotel is under renovation and the pool is closed. The construction noise begins at 7:00a.m so when we addressed the issue with the manager she gave us attitude and told us that the noise can begin at any given time of the day by the owner of the pousada. The owner knew that we were at the lobby trying to address our concerns and once he saw us he ran out of the lobby and wanted nothing to do with us. The manager was nasty, rude and condescending. Nothing was resolved because the next day there was noise again from the construction. The next day the manager also saw us in the lobby having breakfast and did not say a word to us not even a good morning! It’s despicable the way they treat their customers as if we needed their inn to stay meanwhile there are many other ones with much better service and consideration over others. We left the next day and went to another pousada where they treated us with respect. I will never go back to this place ever again!

Super friendly and kind staff. Enjoyable breakfast. Clean and welcoming environment. Very easy to walk to and right along the beach.

Love the property. Close to shopping and restaurants. The nicest beach front property in the island.

Construction in the hotel 6 am. That's unbeliveble . Bad breakfast Overpriced. Noisy . Good location. Friendly staff.

I got bitten to shreds by bed bugs in this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. Very basic rooms which were disappointing considering this is one of the more expensive accommodations on the island. The bed bug issue ruined a number of days of our holiday and I hold the hotel responsible for this - better hygiene and cleanliness is required as a priority to avoid this problem in the future. The hotel also advertises WiFi but we could not access this for the majority of our 3 night stay. Overall a very bad experience and one we will remember for all the wrong reasons.

For starters I should say there was essentially nothing wrong with my stay. The air-con works well, the bed is comfortable, location is right on the water and hot water pressure is good. Beyond that I can't say I liked the place because it has no charm. White tiles everywhere and fluorescent lighting gives a clinical look. Breakfast was reasobable though I did not really like the pastries. Internet was extremely slow but I suspect this will be a problem everywhere on this island. After all this, everyone must visit Ilha Grande. It is a spectacular piece of unspoilt paradise. Stay wherever you can but definitely go.

Excellent location- 3 minute walk from main dock, firm beds, pool is nice (not heated!), firm on checkout time. Poor wifi from room, even though router is right outside door. Game tables are nice touch.

This hotel had a 2.5 Star rating when I was booking it. I must have read the reviews and decided not to trust the rating because normally I don't book under 3 Stars. Am I glad I read the reviews! This hotel was a great find on Ilha Grande! Great location - just steps away from the dock and the downtown activities -; great facility; nice staff; pleasant breakfast; and acceptable internet connectivity (considering we are on an island off the coast of a third world country...sorry, Brazil!). I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would come back again, and again and again.

If you want to be close to hustle bustle and center of town, this is the place to stay. However, Saturday night there a live music on the street next door. I used my ear plugs and had no problem sleeping.

The hotel is in the perfect location right next to the pier where the boat drops you off. The room was clean, pool and rec area are nice. Breakfast was not great for what we paid for the room and staff were not helpful at all. Asked staff for help with maps and things to do on the island but got no help. Something I thought was a joke was that they charge guests to use there beach towels. We were also unable to get late checkout and once we checked out they charged us to rent pool towels for the rest of the day. Definitely need to work on the customer service here.

Quarto grande, muito bom. Café muito bem servido e equipe atensiosa

Pousada com excelente localização, acho até que a melhor localização. Café da manhã bem farto e variado com opção de omelete e tapioca feitos na hora. Recepção 24h e atendimento ótimo. Quartos confortáveis, limpos. A tarde servem um café com bolinho e isso é ótimo para relaxar na varanda da pousada olhando a rua e mar.

Localizada proximo as barcas, frente ao mar. Otimo cafe da manhã. Equipe educada.

Ja me hospedei algumas vezes nesse hotel, na ultima vez estavam em obras, o barulho incomodou, em compensacao a diaria estava por um valor menor e fomos informados que estariam em obras. Dessa vez a obra ja estava pronta, porem nos colocaram em um quarto que estava com o ar condicionado pifado, que so notamos a noite e portanto dormimos no maior calor. No dia seguinte reclamamos, mas falaram que iriam consertar o ar, nao podiam nos trocar de quarto pois estavam lotados. A tarde nos informaram que nao conseguiram consertar, mas arrumaram um quarto pequeno que a cama era minima e "torta" muito ruim, mas pelo menos o ar funcionava. Finalmente na terceira noite conseguimos trocar de quarto que tudo estava funcionando. Porem pagamos dessa vez uma diaria bem cara para dormirmos mal por duas diarias das tres que pagamos. Deveriam ao menos nos dar uma cortesia de alguma diaria para uma proxima hospedagem, ja que passamos duas diarias sem conseguir dormir direito nesse calor e com uma cama desconfortavel. Aguardo retorno do hotel.
