This was my favorite stay in Morocco. Top-notch, highly personalized service. The Riad itself has incredible character and beauty. The spa was excellent. I particularly like the jazz bar and the courtyard. The Jazz bar had a really cool early 1900’s vibe.

Beautiful property, convenient location, accommodating staff.

Maison Arabe is the epitome of old school service and hospitality. Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff here and the building and rooms are gorgeous . In keeping with traditional Moroccan decor but without feeling dated. We stayed in a classic room and it was gorgeous with lovely stained glass door and windows. The only tiny negative was that not much natural light gets into the room, some semi sheer curtains would be perfect as opposed to only blackout curtains- but not an issue if you like a dark room to sleep in . The jazz bar was a lovely highlight (excellent pianist and lovely staff) as was the complimentary afternoon tea in the courtyard. The whole place also smells exquisite. So close to all of the action of the medina but a cosy peaceful oasis to escape - perfect ! Special mention to Idris and Abdelhakim who made our stay extra special .

It is the oldest riad in Marrakech and the property is exquisite. Every room by the reception is unique and has a feel of the 1940s with beautiful decorations and architectural details. The swimming pool is great after a few hours of walking through the Medina. The staff is very helpful to get us a guide or find a reservation for a restaurant they suggest. We had a balcony in our room where we were able to spend the evenings. The breakfast is absolutely delicious with homemade Moroccan crepes. It was a delight.

A very professional staff throughout the hotel, especially the front desk and Ismail in particular. The hotel is architectural stunning, the vision of one man and it shows. Everything about this hotel is perfect, as is their out of town swimming pool, and oasis of calm. My one criticism would be that the complimentary tea and coffee in the rooms should be replaced without having to ask....a small thing but important. A perfect holiday destination.

Friendly staff and such a rich history

This Riad was an incredible place to relax , it was so serene that you forgot you were in the middle of the crazy hustle bustle of marrakesh. Ismael was fantastic and every staff member was welcoming, gracious and treated you like you were a guest in their home. The hotel was well situated in the medina. From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Our room was a good size and was kept really clean. The pool was lovely, and the breakfast was of a very high standard. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we’d definitely recommend.

This historic riad is by far the best place I have ever had the pleasure of staying. The staff are sensational and their service impecable.

Amazing place going to it next year for a longer stay

Loved the staff, location and dining room. Beautifully decorated. Only problem was Expedia did not tell us I had inadvertently booked a single room.it was quite small for two people. But I had booked directly with the hotel for the third night and once we were moved our room was perfect.

What a delightful experience! The unique and spacious rooms (we had two) are a peaceful oasis—a delightful respite from the chaos of the Medina outside. The interior courtyards provide tranquil spaces. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel!

It is a fabulous hotel. We loved every minute of our stay. The staff are amazing… literally everyone! Front desk staff brilliant, restaurant amazing, bar staff amazing and cocktails fantastic. Shout out to Mohammed at the resort which we loved. Cooking school is a must. Restaurant was the best meal we had. Only let down is the roof top terrace! Terrible service there and dreadful drinks. Hotel put it right on our return to their main bar. We will definitely be back.

Exceptional from start to finish. I traveled for my birthday and, from the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by staff and escorted into the riad. The property exceeded all expectations, immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and supported by a team that consistently went above and beyond. It truly felt as though they anticipated our needs before we even expressed them. The food and amenities were outstanding. My only regret is not taking full advantage of the cooking classes and spa experience. The concierge, waiters, bartender, and housekeeping team were all exceptional (I only wish I could remember everyone’s names to thank them individually). Having stayed at several five-star hotels around the world, I can confidently say this riad is Five star through and through! I will be back…

This hotel presented an amazing experience. From the moment you walk it the staff is attentive and ready with a welcome drink and getting you set up with your room. The property is gorgeous for a very well located boutique hotel. The room was comfortable and appreciated the extras. The location is close to everything and a very walkable area.
