Beautiful grounds and pools.

Great vista!!

The kitchen had a very off putting smell. The biggest concern was the pull out couch. It was absolutely tiny that my daughter who is about 5’2” was too tall. And even worse there was a metal bar digging into her back when she lay down. Three of us had to sleep in the one bed which was not optimal at all.

We are making this Resort our annual family reunion place. Very good restaurant also.

Great place to stay, we had a view of the pool, and past it ocean, easy to get to ocean! Great balcony, well equipped kitchen. Great outdoor covered restaurant, always prompt with food, beautiful view from there. Lovely well kept grounds. Large grocery store across the street, handy to food and restaurants!

The property was well maintained. The kids enjoyed visiting the multiple pools. They did not want to go to the beach because of the crocodile warning sign posted at the beach. The rooms came with filtered water which was a huge benefit. They refilled it while we were there. Rooms are spacious. We had two bathrooms/shower plus a kitchen. It was villita. We went into town daily using public transportation. The bus stops right in front of the grounds. There are shops directly across the street too.

We had a bad experience. Our condo was not ready at 3:00 pm and they checked us in anyway! We waited in the staircase for over 45 minutes with a party of 7 including a 4 year old and a 5 month baby in a 89 degree weather. Then the room was not cleaned. It was recent remodel and all the surfaces were dusty and the floors cover with clay dust. Toiletries, towels and bathrooms were all covered with hair and clay dust. We had to way an additional hour, for a second cleaning the following morning. We had a 6 night stay and we lost water for half a day on our 4th day and no one notify us. On the fifth day my 4 year old’s face and neck was covered with bed bug bites. We just took hug to the doctor and required allergy medication. We are very disappointed for how much we paid. We should get a refund.

I think we have found our new favorite place to stay in Puerto Vallarta.

Got there the lock box did not work or the house phone can’t call the front desk backs and forth 3 times finally . Got someone to fix it , the manager Veronica could give a care they did not even ask me how was my stay. At ready and on the last day I found steel wool in my eggs no jokes , they did not even apologize nor did I get to speak to the manager . This was like 7 th time I have say there I won’t be back, oh not enough shade in the pool areas and the most uncomfortable beach chairs you could ever imagine . Come on Mexico time to step it up a notch. There just really unfriendly to Americans.

Buildings are older inside but have all the amenities you need. We had a studio with full kitchen. If something is missing, a call to front desk fixes it. All was in working order, but housekeeping could be more consistent. Grounds are beautiful and pools very well maintained. Restaurant offers good food choices and a happy hour. Local vendors available where grounds meet beach, so take advantage of fresh baking and fruit. No shade other than from palm trees around pools, so you get used to moving your lounger around. Kids were at most pools but were well behaved. Exterior building maintenance ongoing while we were there, but was kept to daytime and shows they are taking care of things. Small onsite store has anything you need. Water coolers in each room - just call front desk when a refill is needed. In-room safe available inside closet. Plenty of clothes hanging space. Have to ask for hairdryer, as there wasn’t one in any of our rooms. Kitchen utensils varied from room to room - ie quantity of plates, glasses, etc. Bring bug repellent as mature landscaping has plenty of mosquitoes. Rooms have little noise insulation from neighbors.

I'm been going to Los Tules the las ten years, Love the tropical feeling all around, the rooms are mexican style it feels warm and cultural. So many pools, they never full of people and the view of the Sea is Priceless. Many restaurants around and also a nice shopping mal in front of it. LOVE IT.

I stayed at Los Tules Villas in Puerto Vallarta with my kids, and we had a great time! The location is perfect—everything you need is within a short walk, and the pools were a big hit with the kids. It really felt like a relaxing and convenient place for a family vacation. The tropical vibe and the peaceful surroundings made for a lovely stay. The property has a great atmosphere, though the rooms are a little older and could benefit from some updates and extra attention. However, it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of our time there. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to families looking for a fun and convenient place to stay in Puerto Vallarta."

We very much enjoyed our stay at Los Tules. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are good enough and the daily housekeeping is very good. It's fun to have so many pools to choose from. The restaurant is convenient, and we enjoyed several meals there (mostly breakfast). Be aware: although Expedia states the Villitas have King beds, that is not strictly true -- some do, and some have 2 double beds. Our first room was up several flights of stairs, culminating in a small spiral staircase to finally get to our Villita. Although the view would have been beautiful, the double beds and stairs difficulty were a no go for us. We were able to switch rooms to a 1st floor near the restaurant -- it was a studio without a view, but a better accommodation for us. Access to the bus system is convenient (bus stop is right out front), and between Uber and the busses we could readily get to and from El Centro and the romantic zone. We'd prefer a bit closer to town, but the location is a nice compromise, and the bank and shopping center with grocery store right across the street are convenient. If you are looking for a beautiful setting, right on the beach, with nice pools, Los Tules is a good choice.

An older property with beautiful grounds. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Several pools to enjoy, and a lovely beach. The on site restaurant is also good.
