No free shuttle to Shitou Forest Park as before. The lady at front counter didn’t show warm welcome. No milk served in the breakfast buffet.

Wonderful hotel. Always friendly and helpful staff. Great place to charge EV.

Second stay at this hotel after many years ,, nice staffs and offer good service

We stayed 2 nights on our visit to Xitou. Hotel in great shape. Room and beds comfortable. Balcony had a wooden bathtub. Took open air bubble bath! Not much food in area. Had hotel hotpot each night. Very good. Breakfast buffet decent. Free shuttle to Xitou. Staff very helpful. If go Xitou again, will stay here.

I wished I had booked Shante Hotel for two nights because of the sights in this vicinity. I had stayed somewhere else in Chiayi and then Sun Moon Lake and then here but my first visit was to the Zhushan Sky Ladder. Should have known it is next to Xitou Recreational Forest as well as the Sun Link Sea Recreational Forest. Both of which are at close driving proximity to Shante Hotel The room itself is excellent. Huge room size, amazing views of the Xitou Forest. Clear unpolluted sky for star gazing at night from the balcony. However, getting a room here for consecutive nights might be a challenge unless you book early. When I was here, tour groups arrived and booked for a night's stay. The hot pot provided by the restaurant is a little pricey but it is OK judging from the limited dining options around. We are in the middle of a forest after all. For nearby entertainment as mentioned above, there are the forest recreational areas as well as the Monster Village just outside of Xitou Recreational Forest. All in all, I would stay here rather than elsewhere if the objective is to visit this beautiful area of Nantou.

沒想到晚餐的合菜和火鍋比附近正式的餐廳更好吃。飯店四周群山環抱，十分清幽，山景怡人。服務員態度親切細心。

環境清潔建議可以提升、進入大廳環境味道不佳，建議改善！

一早下樓用早餐時，遇到了團客同時在用餐 座位難找，餐檯上的餐點也明顯來不及補，連白飯都沒有了 我可以體諒服務人員辛苦，建議改天如有團客入住，可以區隔一下用餐時段 比方說團客預計七點用餐，告知散客避開這個時段 既可以避免餐廳擁擠，補餐不及 也可以讓餐廳服務人員壓力減輕一些 小小建議，謹供參考

服務人員的態度可以再加強 裝潢是新的，也乾淨，但可能管線老舊，廁所有些許味道 位置離溪頭近，飯店後面走路即可賞螢是很棒的優點

房間不知怎麼了，空調不冷，還好山上氣溫不高，但還是希望能改善。
