Friendly staff, beautifully unique and large rooms, comfortable heat control in the winter, and a great shower/tub. It's an old building so noise travels between rooms.

Front desk has limited hours but fortunately there is a lock box that they put my room key into. Front desk staff was super helpful in answering questions about getting around.

Great location. Easy access to public transportation. Walking distance to great restaurants, sightseeing and shopping. Lovely breakfast for a fee. Friendly staff.

Friendly staff at check in, a beautiful hotel with lovely architecture, easy walk into the town centre. Parking is on street around the hotel but a very quiet area so no worries regards security. Stunning city to visit, this was the perfect overnight stop.

This hotel is easily walkable to tourist district 10-15 min max. Which has loads of restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and staff nice. They do leave at 7 pm and you’re basically on your own til the next am. We had a car and you have parking on city streets at 5 euros a day (need to get a slip at front desk) but you have to find street parking which can be a challenge. They do have a few spots you can book in advance but we didn’t know that and they were gone upon arrival. They have an air condenser but no ac and as hear wave, it was hot. Otherwise the property is In a great spot at least for walking. 20 min or so to River. And close to several things if walking

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel! It was nice, clean, conveniently located, quiet, and had a/c which was great during the hot summer weather. Staff were pleasant and helpful too.

The reception staff were very nice. The room was large and felt reasonably clean. However, the mattress cover was grubby and my sheet had small holes in it. We asked for water at reception and were given bottles but not told we would be charged for them, and although I dont mind paying for a bottle of water, it would have been good to be advised at the time rather than be presented with a bill for water at the end. It was very hot when we visited and there was no aircon, so we had to have the windows open. The steet noise was very loud until about 3am and started again at 5am. Other than that the room had everything we needed.

Walkable to shopping and old town. The room was great (included kitchenette!)

It was the most perfect place to stay. Large, modern rooms all located in a great location.

Convenient hotel for centre of Heidelberg. We were able to explore on foot from here without the need for public transport. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby but hotel was just away from the centre in a reasonably quiet neighbourhood. Staff were friendly but quite anonymous…we didn’t need anything in particular during our stay so only saw them at check-in and out. Parking is just across the road, hidden away in an enclosed area of a side street.

Wonderful stay! I have stayed before and loved it then. The staff is friendly, breakfast is perfect. There is no A/C so the rooms can get warmer but a great hotel just outside the old town!

Excellent stay at the Heidelberg Exzellence Hotel. Hotel was nicely located to all amenities and attractions. The hotel was clean, and the staff was great.

A 2 night stay in Heidelberg for the Hoffenheim match. A large room, comfy bed. Hotel met my needs for the duration of the trip.

The people are friendly and attentive. The property is well maintained. It is close enough to the altstadt that walking everywhere was no problem. The food recommendation from the receptionist “krokodil” was not very good and overpriced. Plenty of better places a short distance away. Otherwise all was great!

I had a studio room which had a kettle, fridge etc. Staff were great. It is located within walking distance of the old town and the train station but in a quiet neighbourhood

Triple room was quite large, had comfortable beds, funky lighting and a functional bathroom with good hot water supply. There was a portable air conditioner provided. Kitchenette did not have a microwave or cooking utensils, but still useful. We enjoyed the daily breakfast (17 euros). Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Short 5 min walk to transport and amenities. Quite a bit further to the old town, bridge and castle

Great hotel and staff, not the best location, 18 minutes walk from the train station.
