Everything about The New Garden was great, the housekeeping was top notch, the breakfast was better than expected, the front desk staff was helpful with getting me connected to the wifi and the security was on point. My two complaints are.. 1: I only got a wifi connection on my 3rd floor balcony or on first level (no big deal) #2: there's plenty of towels in the bathroom room but NO washcloths (my suggestion is to pack 1 or 2 in your bags) other than that I would definitely recommend as well as stay at New Garden hotel again

my usual go to spot, spent my bday here its worth it for solo traveling as well as group travel everything you need is there.

Didn't partake in the pool...

The room was very clean, the pool was nice, and the staff was wonderful. Our problem was the Prostitution. You can expect to see around 20 single men staying on their own, and bringing Prostitutes in all night and early morning at breakfast. Not a place for families.

All was as described in the Orbitz listing. The room is very modern, clean, and upscale. Good a/c, toilets that flush right (it’s a thing in the DR), outstanding included breakfast, and a great location. The doors and safe really work. Alicia Beach is nearby. Not a kitesurfing beach. It’s a chill and people watch beach with safe gentle waves and clear water. The restaurant overlooking the beach is outstanding. No regrets. Be sure to use Dominican Taxi Tours to get around. They are as awesome as this hotel.

Excellent stay. Staff was excellent as always. Food was delicious. My room was great.
