The room was spotless . The room was well stocked with Tea and coffee and biscuits which was lovely. Excellent location. Staff/owners friendly.

Very friendly staff, room was very clean & beds exceptionally comfortable. We had a couple of meals in the restaurant, these were of the highest quality and thoroughly enjoyed! The breakfasts were also high quality food served by pleasant staff. It was a pleasure to stay there plus enjoyed meeting the 3 dogs! Would definitely recommend & will look forward to a return visit.

Lovely boutique hotel close to beach and town. Nice outside seating area with evening bar and food. Excellent breakfast though pricey.

The facilities were of a decent standard and the food was good. Neither are worth what is charged, however, and at times I felt more like a transaction than a guest - indeed was ignored at times in favour of a larger party of four. Great service from the younger member of staff though. Lots of rules (which will no doubt be defended). Good location. Final tip: caveat emptor - you may be told at checkout that you could have spent £30 less per night and got free breakfast (rather than £17.50 each).

We had a wondefful stay in this Boutique Hotel! We had an evening meal which was delicious. Breakfast was also very good. The Hotel is a short walk to the beach and town centre so a good location. The owners were very friendly and it was great to learn the history of the hotel. Would stay again.

We recently had a short, midweek break which was most enjoyable. Whilst the hotel was quite quiet, the service was first class. Our room and the public areas are beautifully decorated and very clean. The food, particularly the breakfasts, was excellent and highly recommended.

In a good area and a short walk to the sea front. The staff were very helpful. A wonderful 'times past' feel about it. Recommend.

We stayed in the hippodrome room, which was more like a suite. Lovely and spacious with lovely furnishings and decor. Absolutely stunning hotel. Immaculate in every way. Comfortable bed with beautifully clean, crisp bedding. Fluffy white towels. Staff lovely and friendly. Last but not least is the breakfast. They offer a fabulous menu choice and it was just delicious! Very highly recommended
