Average hotel, fair for low budget, cleaningness excellent; great location for closeness to highlights in the city. Hotel lacks commodeties such as: no coffee machine in the room or in the lobby; no refrigerator, no hand towels, no iron, no restaurant.

I’ve stayed at Hotel New York many times and I’ll keep going back. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Check-in and check out is fast. The rooms are clean, housekeeping made daily and has a safe for your valuables. The rooms are simple but clean. Come prepared, bring your toiletries as you only get a small bar soap. The area is safe and quiet. That’s my personal experience. Lots to do around hotel, restaurants, convenience stores, subways, etc all near by. About a pleasant 1/2 hr walk to Historic Center. This trip we came across (it had never happened before), some noisy guests just outside the elevator. I did call them out though. Like come on! Keep it quiet, people are trying to sleep at 5:30 am! This a hotel where families with kids and elders stay. Show some respect and courtesy for other guests. There a clear signs on each floor and as you exit each elevator to be quiet in guest room floors. This however has been the only time though I’ve heard noisy guests. The other trips, other guests were respectful. Hotel is not to be blamed though for noisy and disrespectful guests. As always my over all experience at Hotel New York is always pleasant. I will return.

The New York Hotel Manager stole my cooking lighter utensil tool bought for using for cooking on the stove, ZARA Men’s clothes and pants I bought inside ZARA stores in shopping malls in Mexico City in 2019 and 2020 and are never worn but was inside my luggage in the New York Hotel Room, 1 lady’s white size xs T-shirt and some clothes, 1 pair of light color lady’s shoes I bought in a shopping mall in downtown Mexico City and kept using my name to get customers to stay in the hotel even after I told her that I do not want it. exposed tubing? bugs in the room? shower that drains to the bathroom floor? a magic hand that opens the door and turns off the power master switch and leaves your devices without juice? not working elevator? this hotel has it all... the saying is right, you get what you pay for. but for christ sakes, thats a little extreme.

You better stay at different hotel this hotel has no heater and there are no more blankets in the room also sink was damage no drain .. is a low budget hotel that should cost less of what they are charging this is a one star hotel no more

Good place and good service but for a few more bucks would I get the hilton

I wish I was informed that this hotel is located around the area where prostitution is more prominent “la sons Rosa”. The street was full of prostituíos. Too make matters worst the windows nor the doors locked. I feel very unsafe.

The hotel staff were courteous and the hotel itself was clean and well-run, the room was comfortable and quiet.

I’ve stayed at this property several times with family and we’re always pleased with the service. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Great location within walking distance of everything. Safe and clean and simple. I have no complaints and will definitely be staying here again!

This my second time (and second review) at this hotel and definitely not the last. It’s simple, inexpensive safe and close to everything. I’ve never had any problems there. The staff is friendly and attentive and beds are made daily. I travel for a living and spend most of the time in different hotels from upscale to simple. Therefore I go prepared..I take my own toiletries because I can’t always depend on hotels to have everything I need especially when a place is inexpensive.

Buen en general. Podría estar mejor en la recepción por ejemplo. Considero que un poco más de cordialidad no les caería mal.

poor customer service, no a/c or fan in room, no wifi. Wall plugs old/outdated, bathroom very outdated. No do not disturb indicator for the door, lock for door very old, felt unsafe.
