While it’s a bit tired the Lucinda B&B is charming and super quiet! With NO kids to cope with and a great breakfast included, it’s a great place for couples to relax and chill! We definitely recommend this B&B!!

What a beautifully restored old place, a labour of love by the host Fiona, a most friendly and generous soul. Breakfast next morning was delicious. Recommended.

The service and breakfast are top notch. We love the old home and the history, hospitality and food. It’s an easy walk to downtown dining and shopping plus a quick drive to the beaches of Devonport. This is a must see for visitors

I loved the olde worlde feel of this property. We learned about its history from chatting with the friendly owner. The decorating showed excellent attention to detail. Our room had a lovely bath which was welcome after wearying travel, as well as a shower. There was a good supply of hot water. The bed was comfortable. My husband enjoyed a walk in the well-kept grounds. We dined at the RSL where the service was friendly and the food generous. Our host, next morning, exceeded our expectations by offering a cooked breakfast. Do stay here. It's a charming village and only a stone's throw from Devonport if you're travelling on the Spirit.

What a gem! As we drove up the winding driveway we wondered what we had booked. Built in 1891, this beautiful home is lovely. We received a warm welcome from Fiona on arrival. Our room was very spacious with lovely views. The bathroom was a good size and had plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and we had a good sleep before getting up early to make the morning sailing of the Spirit of Tasmania. I was a little worried about how far it was to the terminal but needn’t have been. Fiona assured us it was not far at all and she, of course, was right. It was actually nice to stay in Latrobe, quiet and just a short drive to the IGA and restaurants. We dined at the local pub before coming back to our room for a cuppa. Fiona was kind enough to make us an early breakfast and it was delicious. Set us for the day with orange juice, cereal, toast, bacon, eggs and tomato. There was also yoghurt if you wanted. The food was perfectly cooked. We were a bit sad we weren’t staying another night. Lucinda B&B is a lovely place to stay and so reasonably priced. Being here is not just a nights accommodation, it is an experience. We loved it. Thank you Fiona for a special memory.

Our stay at Luncinda B&B was short but Fiona left such a wonderful impression - she is clearly someone just made to be a hostess at a B&B! I booked this accommodation because of the wonderful reviews and they were spot on. We stayed in the deluxe spa room and we were travelling as a group of three. Two adults and one six year old. I was worried about booking a room in such a grand old property with a young child but Fiona was so beautifully patient and engaged with my son. This is not a property for a minimalist - there is so much amazing detail and care to show the property in its historic glory. The beds were very comfortable and the spa was a real treat! I can't comment on the breakfast that's included in the price as we woke later than planned and had to get on the road. The grounds are very pretty and the location is close to lots of attractions but you feel a million miles away in the best of ways when you are one the property.
