This is a gem! In Tarifa, the best place to be! Superbly appointed, with gated parking. Wine and beer welcome gift! Simply superb! If you’re lucky enough to stay here, you won’t regret it! Lovely, lovely place! Right on the beach, near the restaurants, the port. Hated to leave!

Amazing location. Splendid view: Sunrise on Mediterannean Sea and Sunset on the Atlantic Ocean. The accommodation design is memorable.

The property was absolutely incredible! The views were awesome, the decor and feel of the apartment was so relaxing. The rooftop pool and patio was beautiful. Perhaps one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Very family friendly and the customer service was unmatched!

Our stay at La Residencia was very good. Even in the midst of the Covid19 situation, their hospitality (Mariluz) was top notch. I needed something printed, so they brought it to the room for me. The staff made it easy to get in touch with them if we needed anything. The apartment was well furnished and clean. Nice water pressure in the bathroom shower. Plenty of towels and robes. The views are nice as the building is located on the very edge of the old city walls looking over the sea, and on the other side you can see the old city. It's less than 10 minutes away walking distance to the ferry port. The building has a sauna, a heated pool and lounge chairs on the roof that we were able to enjoy. There's also washers and dryers for guests to use. It seems that in the off season and probably because of the virus situation, lots of stores aren't open, so getting food or groceries might be more challenging. We were able to cook at the apartment by shopping for ingredients at the supermarket (SuperSol, Lidl). The kitchen is equipped with basic things like salt, pepper, and olive oil.

Such a beautiful location, this property has ocean views, generous apartment size. Located walking distance to ferry terminal for trip to Morocco. Also walking distance to restaurants and beach. Highly recommend this accommodation, friendly staff and stunning pool and sauna, also laundry access.

Very clean, comfortable and up to date. View is second to none! Sunrise over Africa! And the building is within the the old fortress, how neat is that? Really an exceptional place!

I emailed to say we needed to check I early due to a ferry reservation to Tangier’s. The host was there and allowed us to leave our bags so we didn’t miss our ferry. Unfortunately, our return trip was cancelled led due to high winds so we didn’t make it back in time to fully check I. We had a very early flight out of Saville and had to leave before we were able to meet the host again. It’s an amazing property and we would definitely stay there again.

Great apartment in a fabulous location. Must be one of the best places in Tarifa. Will definitely return.

A beautiful and charismatic location with impeccably furnished rooms and a considerate and helpful host.

Check in was not easy as there is no full time desk attendant, and the need to coordinate with hotel manager to set arrival time. Place is in pretty bad shape, damage to the floor and ceiling visible along with burn marks on counter and marks on walls. The person who came to check us in was nice enough, but he also needed 30 Euro cash for “local taxes” and charged 150 Euro security deposit which is kinda crazy with the condition the place is in... the local area is cool, but overall I would not recommend this apartment as a place to stay.

Extraordinary views across to afrika from certain apartments. Ours was very well equipped with all modern kitchen, bath, and well furnished and decorated. Most comfortable.

We were amazed! This apartment hotel was just beautiful & deserves the high scores it has received. Everything was like new and it was the cleanliest hotel I have ever stayed in - - and since I am a registered Nurse, my expectations are extremely high. The interiors are very tastefully decorated, combining elegance with a hint of Moroccan décor. The views of the coast of North Africa were gorgeous and the rooftop pool and sauna were beyond our wildest dreams. We walked to the ferry terminal for a day trip to Tangier. We were able to hire a guide in the Ferry Terminal in Tangier, who was very experienced and showed us the best the city has to offer: a 5 hour tour by car, camel rides, walk through the Kasbah, thrilling snake charmer "show", lunch in an authentic restaurant, and shopping. He even helped us to skip the line in the ferry terminal. Tour for four people was 50 Euros. A bargain to us! Maryluz was a very gracious hostess & told us of some of the restaurants to try in the town - just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The cost was a bargain and everywhere we went in Spain charged for parking, so we were not concerned about the 9 Euros for the locked parking area. The town was very safe! We were able to eat at Barbacoa two night since there wasn't much open in late January but the food and service were fantastic. A simple, delicious menu w/a variety of grilled meats, salad and chips along with wine and beer. We hope to return to La Residencia some day!

This place is so good we decided to stay 2 extra nights for a total of 4. Would stay longer but we need to get on with our journey as we head to Portugal. Do not even think twice. Even if it’s within reach if your budget stay here.

Delightful boutique hotel in the best location with a great pool and view. Really enjoyed the apartment and closeness to Tarifa town centre.

Beautifully and lovingly restored. Really can’t fault in any way. Only suggestion would be to recommend a good breakfast cafe if one doesn’t feel like making breakfast.

Fantastic location and views. Facilities amazing - the incredibly strong winds kept us cool but did stop us using the barbecue and did make the roof terrace a bit more tricky - not the fault of the accommodation though. Recommend upper floors for views and also security

Tastefully furnished apartmemt residence with private parking, views(some rooms, rooftop pool with welcome surprises. Convenient for visiting & restaurants by foot.
