Very friendly and helpful staff at check in.Always approachable and staff very welcoming at breakfast time.Nothing was a problem.We had an early check out and breakfast box’s were provided and a taxi booked to take us back to the airport approx €26.Room was clean and serviced every day.No hotel bar, but fridges with cold drinks available to purchase, and reasonably priced.We had a ground floor room 122 and no noise from the road or nearby station.

Excellent for everything..

Good accessible hotel only ten mins walk from the main train station. We only stayed for a night and found it perfect for a short stay. Breakfast was basic and coffee was great.

We were on the ground floor in a large room. Very basic but clean enough and it really was just a bed for the night! Breakfast was excellent. My daughter is Coeliac - I mentioned this when checking in and they had a tray overflowing with GF options ready for her, plus yoghurt etc that she was able to eat. Staff were friendly. We checked out in the morning but weren't heading to the airport until dinner time. They were happy to store bags for the day at no charge. Location fairly good. We were happy to do lots of walking! Bergamo is lovely!

The location of the hotel is a convenient walk away from the train station and the town centre of Bergamo. The room was large and clean and was ideal for our needs. My only issue was the shower cubicle which is in need of some attention (room 116). The breakfast was excellent value with a wide range tasty options. All the staff were helpful and friendly, a special thank you to Miriam in the breakfast room.

Rooms clean. Staff friendly on arrival and departure Saved our bags the next day which was great Only 1 plug in bedroom & 1 in the bathroom - for a family of 3 we managed for 1 night. Eco friendly hotel which was nice to see and makes you use less water etc 20 to funicular. 10 mins from train station No noise from trains which was good

Staff great - friendly and spoke great English. Wi-Fi was good. Room was fine for 1 night before an early airport departure. There was coffee stain or something on the room which hadn’t been cleaned off. But other than that was clean and fine.

An excellent hotel, everything you need was delivered to a high standard. The reception staff and all the staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable

A decent hotel only 10minutes walk from train/bus station 30/40 minutes walk to funeculor to get to old town. Check-in was easy and as we had arrived early to store bags they actually done the check in process then so when we returned later they gave us our key code at same time as bags so could go straight to room. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Bergamo

Basic no frills room. Clean and a decent size room. Didn't have breakfast to comment on. Staff were friendly and helpful. The funicular is a 20/25 minutes walk away to access the upper town. Lower town is about a 10 minutes walk away.

Breakfast N/A - didn't book for breakfast Room clean and bedding and towels clean and fresh daily. Problems we encountered were poor air conditioning just blowing hot. Ask reception to check whilst we were out and about sight seeing to return to hot air. Could not use as room was too warm with it on. Couldn't open windows as we were getting bitten nightly by mosquitoes which seemed to be a problem in the room. They woke us in the middle of the night buzzing around our faces. Horrible and we were both bitten badly. We most had a sleepless night on our second night with the combination of windows shut, no aircon and being bitten. Yes they still appeared with windows shut. Was a passable 3 star but wouldn't stay again due to the bites. Recommend people take mosquito precautions.

Reasonable budget hotel

I had a great stay at B&B Hotel Bergamo City. The hotel is clean, modern, and comfortable, with surprisingly quiet rooms despite being located on a main road. The soundproofing and blackout curtains really help ensure a restful night. The breakfast selection was varied and satisfying, offering a good start to the day. The hotel also provides parking facilities, which is a big plus if you're driving. One of the best aspects is its location. It's just a short walk from the train station, making day trips to Milan super convenient — only €9 return and about an hour's travel. Additionally, the Città Alta, Bergamo’s historic upper town, is within walking distance and absolutely worth spending a day exploring. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the WiFi was reliable throughout the stay. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and is a solid choice for both leisure and business travelers.

Good WiFi, good breakfast. No complaints except the walls are a bit thin and the Italian ladies in the next room were noisy.
