We didn’t get any VIP upgrades. Early check in was only available if you pay extra. Same with late check out. Room was big enough. Limited pool chairs. No smoking outside. Pool is very small. Check in and service was terrible

Clean, nice layout nice rooftop, bar and pool

This is the quietest Best Western I have ever stayed in--I wish every hotel stay was this quiet. Breakfast was good. I appreciated that they had cooked broccoli (crucerfers are not popular menu items in Panama). My husband liked that they had a European style breakfast. I enjoyed using the gym. It had everything I needed to get a good workout. Two things that detracted from my stay--there was no pool access in the a.m. as the entry to the pool is through restaurant which is closed in the morning. Secondly the hotel smells like mold; so, if you are sensitive to mold, this may not be the place for you.

Hotel was a mazing , i will go back there

Good central location in El Cangrejo, especially if you have kids. It's a two minute walk from a fantastic playground, and super easy to get an uber or taxi to get to other parts of the city. They hang out outside the hotel, so we never waiting more than 2 minutes. Front desk staff was super friendly and spoke fluent English and Spanish. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. However, we had no hot water for two of the three nights we stayed here (at start and end of trip), and the A/C was malfunctioning. First it was just very loud and making this weird whining sound when it cycled off. Then it just stopped cycling off altogether and our room was FREEZING by morning (about 60 degrees Farenheit!) Pool had great views, but was tiny and quite cold, which was unusual for our experience in Panama in general. Even my pool-loving 6 year old couldn't stay in more than a few minutes.

Great location 10 minute walk from Metro. Safe area, lots of restaurants. Good clean modern rooms. All facilities worked well. Very good breakfast buffet. Excellent rooftop pool, restaurant and bar with amazing views. Friendly, efficient and competent reception staff.
