Very active bar! Fun! And the food was wonderful. Very modest room, but I expected that. It was clean and at a very reasonable price.

The building was old & in keeping with the ambience of the village. The room was quaint, clean & spacious. Dinner in the downstairs pub was delicious as was the full English breakfast. Would love to stay again & highly recommend it.

We found the staff friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious both a Sunday lunch and the included breakfast. The room was idea with separate access for a late return from a concert. The room was spacious and also the en suite. A lovely old property with plenty of character. Many thanks to the Royal Oak . . . We would stay there again.

Wonderful welcome. It was great to get on site parking & check in early. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was superb.

This was really good value for money. The staff were great, the food was great - breakfast wonderful! The room was spotless but a little tired. I travel a lot for work and always try to stay in local businesses not chains, this was a great local pub with rooms. Would definitely return

Very adequate for an overnight stay. Not out of this work, quite basic but met our needs

Perfectly adequate with some nice touches

Hi, the rooms need to be refurbished, in particular the shower. Very week water pressure, it reminded me of bnbs from 20 years ago, the difference is these use to be £20 so you could understand. Prices are now 4-5 times the price so the least you should get is a good shower.

Great service from everyone there , they couldn’t be more helpful , food was good and sensibly priced, big bed that was comfy
