Room was so small. No end table to place my stuff and charge the phone. Nothing much oh amenities. Just shampoo, body wash and dryer.

Great location, wonderful staff and room

This was a nice little hotel, located very near 1 of the main transport hubs in the city and meant all the interesting spots were easily accessible. Our room (No.8) was very small however that didn’t detract from our stay. Room and hotel had great cleanliness. Staff were lovely and very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and the hotel supplied gluten free bread for my partner which was helpful. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The friendly staff were extremely accommodating with any question or concern we had. The room was spotless - very clean. The breakfast buffet was great with very adequate choices. We had it most mornings. The location was excellent- just across the street from the Perrache train station and the tram station. It was also very walkable to Vieux Lyon and Place Bellecour. We would stay here again.

We arrived as a couple, staying for 3 nights in July. Parking is available across the road in a public indoor car park. The service at reception was very helpful, showing us to our top floor room on the 5th floor and explaining the procedure with paying for our parking. The temperature was 31 degrees but the room was air conditioned. The facilities were very nice. Buffet breakfast was enjoyable and the member of staff ensured food was replenished. The hotel was situated within a 25 minute walk from the old town, but had plenty of nice restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Caution!! Stairs only. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re traveling on a long road trip with huge luggage.

We stayed in the family room with 1 big bed and 2 single beds (bunkbeds). The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was small but delicious. If I return to Lyon I would definitely stay at Hotelo Lyon Charite again!

To keep the room cool we had to open the window. We had tram and traffic noise since we had a street front room. It was a great location. Restaurants and shops and parks and street markets were all close by.

Excellent location close to the Perrache train station and Vieux Lyon. Very walkable. Lots of dining options nearby. Staff at the hotel were fantastic, responsive and friendly. The reception and dining area were charming and designed to appeal. Breakfast was delicious!

Matilda was exceptional in her customer service. Only negative is there is no lift. Not good for us as no assistance to get luggage upstairs. Will check before booking next time.
