The back sitting area was absolutely beautiful with a beautifully landscaped lawn and deck with lounge chairs. We met other travellers and spent an few hours on the waterside deck watching a great sunset. Wish we could stay longer before heading back to Ontario.

Had a fantastic time there. Staff was excellent with checking in and definitely with checking out. This place was fantastic for its pricing.

A beautiful property right on the lake. It was super noisy while were there due to an event down the road. This went on all day and didn't disturb us but Im sure other guests were not impressed. Staff did apologize for the noise which was not at all their fault. This is a busy spot during the day with tm it does however quiet down at night and we slept peacefully.

The rooms were clean, but REALLY need updated. Our room smelled like wet dog and was very small, but again, it was clean overall. For a one night stay, it was fine. Their property behind the hotel was the best thing about it. The hotel sat on the lake and there was a very nice deck with seating to look out on the lake and enjoy the view.

The problem with this property is the manager,I believe owner.I have never received this much disrespect and poor treatment from any hotel in my life.I arrived at 1pm after 31 hrs on the road with little sleep.I spoke to 2 staff members who checked with the manager.She refused my request. I was informed my room would be ready around 1:15.I asked to speak to the manager.She refused. I went to eat and wait. I returned at 2:50.I went to office and asked to check in and was told to wait until 3pm.I believe this woman was the manager. When I came back 10 minutes later,another woman checked me in without problem.I explained what had happened and asked her tell the manager that I would like to speak to her and left her my contact information.Next day, I asked if my request had been delivered and was told it had.I have not heard from the manager.My problem is with the management of the Stardust Motel and not the staff who were excellent.If I not already paid for my stay,I would have gone somewhere else.My check in was terrible.

I had reserved a queen size bed but they said they could only give me two doubles when I got there. The room was comfortable and clean

Noisy at might. Clean but small room. Overchargèd for four nights and had to call and discuss the billing charges. Finally got it settled. But did not stay the second night due to the noise.

They have fantastic area in back with the lake and plenty of seating could spend the day there just relaxing. Staff were very friendly and pleasant.

Convenient location- close to Halifax Very clean Staff there is so genuinely kind, I thought she was the owner but she indicated she was an employee. She is a gem and I hope owners recognize this! Cleaners on previous stay even asked how we liked it. You can see how hard they work. Don’t think I’ve ever had cleaners ask before. Beautiful view! Would definitely stay again.
