It’s a great family and friendly atmosphere, wonderful people. They are really nice . Topical Swiss hotel with nice local food and spirit. We loved it.

The hotel was excellent in every respect. We arrived early (11.30)to see if we could leave our car while we went to the skiing. We were shown to our room right there and then. We got changed and they ran us to ski lifts. When we finished skiing at the end of the day we called the hotel and the owner herself came and picked us up. Beautiful room and excellent service will definitely use this hotel again

Wow! This place took my breath away. It was simply gorgeous. A wonderful place to stay!

Facilities were disappointing, no hot water facility (kettle) in room, 1 coffee capsule per person/day. Breakfast was very good and excellent service at breakfast, reception desk was often unattended. The photo on Agoda/Alpenrose website does not seem to represent the current existing reality.

This chalet on a mountain side is an excellent alternative to the pricier hotels in nearby Gstaad resort. The room is huge, more like a mini suite, and clean and comfortable — though the bed is very firm. The on-site restaurant is excellent, and we enjoyed a superb steak dinner. All of the staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is quiet and comfortable and the proprietor and staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a 10-minute walk from the station, with the option for a lift. Breakfast was great. The restaurant is pricey for dinner, if not included in the board.
