Lovely, quiet place to stay!

Location is great. Big clean apartment. Nicely apportioned with sufficient kitchen accommodations and plenty of closet hangers and closets and drawers. Lovely location with a patio overlooking the local plaza. No real water views and no pool. The parking is readily available. It is free street parking. There are many restaurants nearby. The restaurant below the apartments is exceptional. It is not affiliated with Rok Plaza. Kathy, the manager is incredibly accommodating and truly an asset to the place. Make sure you communicate exactly when you anticipate arriving. Ours was very late and unexpectedly so. We called Kathy at 10:00 pm and she was with us within 15 minutes. She lent us beach towels also This is a local working town. Not touristy … lots of walks along the lava shoreline. You will need a car to truly enjoy Tenerife. Next town over is San Juan Playa. More tourist shops but still a lovely local vibe. No sandy beaches here… but that wasn’t a concern for us. Drove to Teide NP in an hour and drove to #whiteTenerife catamaran whale tour in less than 1/2 hours. Easy walkable delicious dining and plenty of convenience for groceries, drinks and snacks

Great apartment with everything you need. Location is great, you could survive without a car if just chilling for a week. Kathy and her team were excellent and made us feel very welcome.

The beach view is outstanding, the parking was easy street parking, parallel and angle parking. Many nearby restaurants, a grocery, and sites within walking distance.

Great experience, Cathy was great, the place is nice and the area is cozy, small community but near bigger resort type ambiance.

Beautiful aparthotel. Very quiet, excellent service with Cathy. Room cleaned and fresh towels almost daily. Cathy was very helpful in advising us where to go, about the area etc. No pool at the property. But sea and natural pools on the doorstep

We selected a second floor luxury apartment looking out to the village square. Nevertheless, it was quaint and quiet. A one minute walk to the first beach bar, to the first grocery store and plenty of parking space most of the time. Just beautiful.

This was amazing! The location was great, close to several amenities, excellent restaurants and bars, convenient store and a walking distance to a super market (HiperDino). Right by the beach, and beautiful walking trails! The highlight of the this place was the staff, Kathy and her team, were beyond amazing! Those ladies sure make a great stay feel phenomenal and incredible! We will be back next year and if they have availability during our dates we will be staying with them for sure!! Thank you Kathy and team! Your phenomenal service, communication and relationship building along with professionalism and authentic approach made the difference! Our stay at Rok Plaza was absolutely lovely.The hotel itself is charming and perfectly located right by the sea.Kathy was wonderful…her warm welcome and hospitality made us feel right at home.She gave us excellent recommendations for dining and even helped us arrange a car rental,unfortunately there were none available at the time.remember to book a car in advance because they go quickly. Tenerife South is a beautiful destination, would recommend it.

Lovely location in a small and quiet village away from the crowds. Close to coffee shops, the beach and coastal walk. Super friendly staff and a spotless apartment. Can highlt recommend and would stay again!

A lovely spot to relax, recharge and explore from. Rok Plaza is situated overlooking Alcala Square on the one side and from the shared roof top terrace has a prefect sea and sunset view. We had a spacious 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor which was serviced daily so always spotless, comfortable huge bed.

This is quite a difficult review to leave as we have mixed feelings. The positives first - the apartment really is of a very high standard, very large & beautifully decorated overlooking a square with a small balcony which was nice to relax on of an evening & see the goings on. The pictures on the hotels.com website are very misleading, there is no bar or restaurant accessible from the hotel. The main image on the website is actually of a restaurant nearby & the images of the snug areas we never found. You have to access the apartments from the back of the hotel, we didn’t struggle with parking but we walked past the apartments several times as they are lacking signage. On the brief it says they have multilingual staff but essentially you are met by the cleaner, there is no reception & she doesn’t speak English very well (we understand that we’re in a Spanish country so should be able to speak in Spanish) but to say the staff are multilingual is not true. The TV didn’t work, no sound system & couldn’t use the bath as there wasn’t a plug. Overall.. absolutely stunning apartment & despite all my negative criticism I would stay there again, I just think they need to make a few minor changes.

Initially hard to find for the taxi driver-it’s not the building on the photo- however the front of the building from the plaza is stunning. It’s so close to the dramatic rocky cove and there’s a fabulous range of places to eat- all close by. Lovely walk on the promenade and easy bus links just a short walk up the hill.

The location is amazing - balcony looks onto the village square and the roof terrace looks over beautiful harbour. The quality of the apartment was fantastic. It is a group of apartments in a building with the only shared amenity the roof terrace. Not a problem but it does mean there isn't a Rok Plaza sign outside so it was hard to find. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the villa, a detached property on two floors with a roof terrace directly facing the sea. The view is stunning! The house is very spacious and can comfortably accommodate 4 people having two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is very large and fully equipped, and the cozy living room has cable tv and wifi. The house has independent air conditioning in the two floors. The property is kept very clean and the hotel's personel is friendly and helpful. Parking is easily available free of charge in nearby streets. Alcala (Guía de Isora) is a great place for a holiday. It has easy access to most touristic locations in the island but it is still a calm and charming village. The neighborhood has numerous restaurants that we suggest you visit. We fully recommend and we would totally go back.

Lovely staff, rooms immaculate and a great place to stay.

The property is very unique and wonderfully surprising - many nice touches and clearly well kept with attention to detail. Full kitchen was very convenient, bedroom was comfy. Steps to a beautiful beach, many nice restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, banks in easy distance - with taxi stand and bus stop close by. Management was very helpful and welcoming - recommended several local activities, restaurants, etc. Check in and Check out was very easy. Would highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat - easily exceeds any of the "tourist traps"
