The bathroom smelled musty when we entered.

Stayed here for three nights as a solo female traveler and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very safe, perfectly located within a one minute walk of the metro. All of the bars in the old town are on your doorstep. Spacious room and modern bathroom. Would absolutely recommend.

Good room, main issue was it is extremely stuffy inside as the windows there lead to nothing and there is no AC. You can have the ceiling fan on which helps but I personally can't sleep with wind blowing at my face. It is also thin walls so it is noisy. Everything else was good. If you need towels you need to ask while they are opened as we seemed to have a missing towel. Overall there are 3 codes and doors to get to your room so it is safe, but also suggests the area maybe not as safe at night.

Good value room in the old city close to everything including the metro. Super quiet despite location. Basic room, but had what you needed and great shower. Very clean. Little natural light in room, but spent most time outside so not a big issue. Easy to walk to train station, Guggenheim etc. Would stay there again.

Would return to the same hotel because it was so walkable, close to the old center and relatively quiet even in the middle of the center. Didn't open the windows and balcony doors, so it must be the good sound proofing of the doors. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and airy. Furnished quite sparsely but the price was reasonable.

The room and bathroom were spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is just around the corner from the metro station and super convenient for restaurants and nightlife.

Location is fantastic. An easy 3-5 minute walk from the metro station and you’re right in the middle of Casco Viejo. Front desk staff was amazing. Cleaning supplies used have an over-powering odour. Those sensitive to scents might want to avoid. And the room was sweltering. Ceiling fan helped a lot.

Great property for the price! It's centrally located and within walking distance to everything like restaurants, shops, and main attractions. Clean, comfortable, and convenient. Highly recommended for anyone looking for value and location!

Arenal Suites is a great place to stay, super clean and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and professional.

Loved the area near everything. Great room. The only downside is that it didn’t have air conditioning but at least it had a fan.

Very good and superb location close to alot of sites

Absolutely fabulous location. Couple of minutes walk to the piazza. The underground is less than a minute walk. Lots of bars and food places. The hotel is spotless. Staff are lovely. And that bed. Oh my word, I wanted to take it with me to the next hotel! Most comfortable hotel bed I’ve slept in for a long time. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The stairs are not for the faint hearted though!

Fantastic stay. Clean comfy and quiet.

The hotel was in the heart of Old Town. The room was modern but small. We were hardly there so no issue. Very friendly staff. If you're a walker its perfect. Taxis are close by, 5 min. Walk. All in all a lovely stay.

An old property with no lift, which did not bother us personally, but it may be an issue for the less mobile. Bedroom and bathroom were excellent.

Great value really. Considering it's the heart of the city couldn't have asked for more. Clean and in general looking good.
