Absolutely incredible stay! The hotel manager Sophia was an absolute gem, and the rooms were great with an amazing view! And little Lolitas the puppy was an incredible worker as well :). Highly recommend staying here!

An old fashioned, old school Greek hotel with fantastic views across the bay and lovely, friendly staff. Big rooms, spotlessly clean, excellent pool and easy walk to beach and “town” - once you’ve negotiated a labyrinthine lay out and plenty of steps! All part of the fun though. You couldn’t help but like it. And that view…..

Very nice people Beautiful room

We loved our stay Mare Vista in Batsi. It was close to everything and had convenient parking. We felt welcomed once we entered the hotel. Sophia and Aggeliki were awesome, they gave us great recommendations for restaurants and beaches. Rooms were clean and the view was amazing. The breakfast was a nice addition. Thanks for making our stay wonderful.

This is a beautiful place and our room had an amazing view over Batsi beach. It is a short walk into town. Staff was fabulous.

Mare Vista provides one of the best views in the world. The building itself is a little dated, but my room was clean and freshly painted. It had a huge patio to enjoy the magnificent view. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The front desk staff were so warm and welcoming you felt they really cared about your experience while there. The outside areas and pool were clean and ready for you to enjoy.

Breakfast was fantastic. Nick at front desk great. Beds were super comfortable. The only thing I can say is, as our time on the island was windy, they need to adjust shutter doors so they don’t bang in the wind.

Mare Vista is in a perfect location for Batsi, and the service is outstanding. If we visit Andros again, we'll definitely stay here!

It is a very beautiful location. Up on a hill with amazing night views of the port and the city. The Byzantine church located in the left of the hill is lighted at night and it looks “divine”.

We hope to return as the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location overlooks Batsi village and the beach, all within walking distance. Private parking garage. Beautiful pool. Sumptuous breakfast. We highly recommend family owned Stamatis restaurant.

The Mare Vista enjoys a commanding hillside position overlooking beautiful Batsi bay. The views of the little harbour town are breathtaking and yet the waterfront tavernas and sandy beach are only a five-minute downhill stroll away. It takes a bit longer to climb the steep steps coming back, however. The hotel itself is spacious: our family room was more like a suite with a kitchen area, two bedrooms - one on an upper floor - and two balconies to soak up the views. All cleaned daily. The overall buildings are a little dated but the staff are extremely friendly and the large pool terrace has plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Breakfast feels very home made and fresh.

Lovely hotel. Perfect for our few days on the island. Close to beaches and the town. Has a small playroom for young children and pool/table tennis. The children loved the Swimming pool.

My fiancé and I stayed for 3 nights in this lovely hotel in the Andros village of Mbatsi. It is accessible from the main ferry port via the local bus system, and is located just a 5 minute walk up the hill from the main restaurants and shops on the beach. This means that there were beautiful views down onto the town from our room's balcony. The hotel has a nice rustic touch and a personal feel to it, but is very well presented with an on-site indoor-outdoor bar area, and a breakfast buffet serving a range of foods. We found the town of Mbatsi a great place to relax, and we felt safe leaving a bag on our beach lounger (not with any valuables!) whilst swimming in the warm (after the first shock) water of the sea. The hotel pool was large and a good temperature, and was never crowded when we went to swim. The staff were always happy and helpful, and we really enjoyed our whole stay. Only slight thing was that the double bed in our basic room was two singles pushed together. However, if I were returning to the Greek Islands, I would definitely come back to Andros and stay in the Mare e Vista Hotel again.

Excellent hotel. Great service from the heart. Excellent location. I think the best location on the island after I circled it. Highly recommended. Everything was excellent.

This Hotel was perfect for our stay - the staff and management provided everything we needed and were happy to help with travel arrangements and any queries - the family house with its two double rooms on two floors each with balcony was ideal for 4 and could have slept 6 without too much problem. Breakfasts were excellent with good varied daily choices. Location was perfect for all the Batsi amenities.The town and other local beaches had good shade - perfect swimming and snorkeling. An 8 Euro taxi ride to Kipri beach had excellent wind surfing and tuition. Access to well signed Andros Routes hiking was easy and a trip highlight for us with spectacular views and adventurous varied routes from the hotel giving us four full days hiking in different directions with many more options remaining.
