We booked this hotel specifically for the ocean view, paid extra for the privilege but were given a room with no view. We asked for the room to be changed as we had paid for "Ocean View". We were told they were fully booked and were unable to change rooms until the following day. We were then shown the room that we were to have. The following day we were moved, but to another room with a partial "Ocean view". None of the rooms had "Ocean views and their website has since been changed to reflect this. On quizzing staff as to why we were given the room we had, we were told that others were staying for 10 days and we were staying for only 5. Not good enough.
We then asked to see the manager and were told straight away that he had left and they were waiting for a new one!
Two days later the new manager arrived and was informed by staff of our issue and our willingness to speak to him. We never even saw a second glance from him, nor were we offered any form of compensation for the extra dollars spent on the best room.
Apart from the issue over the room. everything else was to a 4* standard, however a little more training for staff would be recommended.
