A very comfortable bed and the room had everything needed for a short stay. Staff were great and very helpful. Parking was right next to the hotel and off-road. Breakfast had great choices and the poached eggs were just right.

Great place to stay. Made to feel very welcome from first moment. Nice pub, everything you want in the room and really great hosts that made you feel valued. Definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

Loved our stay here! Such a beautiful location and friendly staff! The staff here went above and beyond as they allowed me to use their bar to film an audition. So grateful to them!! Still haven’t heard anything from my audition though haha but promised to call if I got it. Such a beautiful place and had a great sleep.

We were in Room 3, a twin comfort room. The beds were at right angles to each other as there wasn't sufficient room to put them next to each other in the usual way. The en-suite shower room was surprisingly spacious and in some ways looked nicely done, though the wash basin taps were wonky and the towel rail had fallen off. The toilet was a macerator sort. Shower was electric and had moments of varying from scalding hot to cold, presumably depending on whether others were also drawing on the water, but generally was good. The cooked breakfast was very nice. We checked in at 2 pm and I then went to have a lie down. My husband thought he would read in the lounge, but the whole pub shut between 3 pm and 5.30 pm I think and so he was not able to. Fortunately, the weather was good so he sat outside in the pleasant garden. It was a useful location for us, and we had had a good price via Hotels.com, so we were satisfied.

Great location and very friendly host. Bar food (dinner) and breakfast were both delicious. Wi-Fi was good and strong. Bedroom was right next to main road, with traffic (inc v loud trucks) disturbing sleep quite a lot.

Location was convenient; historic premises with character. Good food and friendly staff. Negative: Traffic noise through the night!

Friendly welcome. Tasty evening meal from a good choice of dishes. Very comfortable nights sleep and great full English breakfast to dsend us on our way. Lighting rather dim: bathroom possibly requires new fluorescent bulb: in bedroom, one of the three bulbs u/s so needs replscing and LHS bedside light bulb was quite dusty. Ligting ptroblem reported to management who took note and said they would sort asap.

We booked the Harewood Inn to attend a wedding at Homme House. As we needed to get to the venue for 1:30pm, the kind team let us check in early to drop our bags and get ready. We had a great night's sleep and the breakfast was fab in the morning. A really lovely inn, and a great stop for our nights stay.

Nice stay. Room clean and bed reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. If I was being critical I'd say that there is significant road noise if you need a window open and the carpets are looking pretty tired on the stairs and in the room. That aside, it was a nice stay

A really friendly pub - the staff and owners were genuinely the friendliest I’ve ever found at a hotel. We had a lovely double room, which was really quiet and had loads of space. Breakfast was delicious - we had English breakfast, which is all sourced locally and cooked to order (definitely worth it). We also had dinner in the pub on evening - again, all locally sourced and better than many restaurants. The inn is very well located between Ross on Wye and Hereford, with lots of walks, gardens and villages around. Would highly recommend!
