Dear We booked a twin family room, but upon arrival, we were given a single room !!!!. After an hour, they offered another room on a different floor for our two small children, which wasn't feasible. We ended up cancelling the second room and staying in one small room. Unfortunately, we weren't refunded any money for the discrepancy. Location is prime—you’re in the heart of the city walking distance to the bazaars. Room was very dusty and AC did not work.

Good hotel however needs an update of interiors. AC not working and safe not working. Stayed only one night so didn't want to wait for the repairman. Very convenient location to major sights and lots of restaurants around. I would recommend this hotel just make sure AC works because Diyarbakir is a hot place in the spring and summer

Öncelikle personel son derece güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Tüm konaklamamız boyunca her saat güzel karşılandık. Odalar son derece rahat ve sıcaktı. Özellikle oda kartını yanınıza alsanız dahi sıcak odaya gelebilmek harika. Güzel düşünmüşler. Müthiş rahat uyuduk. Odada kettle, su ve çay, kahve ikramı var. Oda servisi fiyatları gayet uygun. Odalar dışarıdan oldukça az ses alıyor, bu da harika. Otel konsepti olarak oranın en eski otellerinden biri olmasına rağmen gayet modern ve gülümseten detayları var. Tebrik ederim. Konumu mükemmel diyebilirim, Ulu Camii, Hz Süleyman, Sur içi, Kiliseler, Çarşı, en iyi ciğerci kadayıfçılar, Sülüklü Han, eski sur içi sokakları hepsi hepsi yürüme mesafesi otele. Diyarbakır'da zor bulunan yeni nesil kahveci ararsanız o bile 50m yanınızda. Kahvaltısız konakladığımız için o kısma şahit olmadık. Otel aynı zamanda taksi mesafesi olarak havalimanına 15-20dk mesafede. Diyarbakır'a yeniden yolum düşerse tekrar konaklamak isterim.

The staff were very friendly and supportive, the property in general was nice, clean & the breakfast was really good. The following mentioned 3 points were made me feel annoyed : 1) This is related specifically to Expedia( I sent e-mail asking to shorten my stay from 4 nughts to 3 nights, however, no answer at all) the 2nd) I surprised that breakfast was not included in the price , the way of offering the price was tricky and closer to cheating, while the 3rd) there was no parking area designated for the hotel just parking on the main street !.

All good and friendly service

The location of the hotel is amazing. The room is very clean and comfortable. The staff are so kind. The only problem was the bathroom. Some sort of bad smell was coming out of it and the toilet seat was broken. The spa also does not work.

Personeller çok yardımsever ve güleryüzlüydü. Odaların düzeni ve temizliği güzeldi. Kaldığım otellerde banyo ve çarşaf temizliğine dikkat ederim her yer temiz ve ferahtı. Bu otel aradığım her şeyi eksiksiz bir şekilde karşılıyor.

Big room and everything was decent. Helpful that they have a gym even if its not got great equipment.

Otele giriş yaptığınız gibi sizleri güler yüzlü personeller karşılıyor. Oda ve banyo gayet temiz ve hijyenikti. Yatağı rahattı yardıma ihtiyacınız olduğunda personel sıcak bir karşılamayla hemen size yardımcı oluyor. Kahvaltı çeşidi fazla ve lezzetliydi. Tüm çalışanlara teşekkür ederim.

Younes at fromt desk is amazing. Everyone at the restaurant was great....all staff was helpful.

Enjoyed our stay

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. I was here for 1 week and staff didn’t speak very much English at all but they always put the effort to help me when needed. Room service was great and the food was lovely. I had the corner suite and it was beautiful to stay in and very luxurious for the price. I would come back again. Thank you

Food was very delicious

It was fair. Clean and fairly large room. The sound isolation, could be better. Heating panels would be better than air conditioner heating.

Older hotel that could benefit from some updating. But overall very nice especially for the price. The hotel staff are so nice and the location great. I would definitely stay there again. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. Compared to my last experience in Istanbul for double the price this is heaven. Again great friendly staff.

Demir Hotel was the perfect choice for my stay in Diyarbakir! The location is fabulous, right in the heart of the old city, the decor is elegant yet comfortable, the rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, the wifi works great, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel restaurant (just next door to the hotel) is superb --- delicious food and gracious, friendly service. I highly recommend Demir Hotel.

I liked that it's one of the few p,aces in Diyarbakir that sells alcohol.
