We wanted to love this Inn and it was lovely in many ways. The ceilings in our room were so low and just wish we had gotten a heads up, my husband hit his head hard on the ceiling! The room was also not very clean. The bed was comfortable and had all the great amenities. The area is cute! Overall, an okay stay but wanted so much more!

Unique property. Enjoyed the suite with the loft. Our daughter was excited to get her own space. Parking in Carmel is challenging in general but we had no issue getting a space right outside of our cottage with a bit of patience. The "breakfast" was lacking with only coffee/tea and a croissant. Coffee was of good quality but lacked otherwise. Grounds nicely done to complete the cottage feel.

The Green Lantern Inn is a wonderful place to stay. For the price point, the location is unbeatable—within walking distance to both the beach and the heart of Carmel. The property is quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the cozy fireplace in our room. The staff and manager were excellent. We hope to return next year!

Cute unique property.

Nice little cottage to spend some time at while you enjoy the downtown area, I loved how close the beach was (about a 3 minute walk) and how close downtown Carmel was (only a block away)

The location was very convenient, close to downtown & beach, but the parking was challenging very minimum spots at the Inn the rest available was on the street again very challenging & disappointing. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs, very disappointing. The breakfast needs improvement, they served Costco muffins & croissants (next day or two days old). For the prices they charge I thought it would be a lot more comfortable & with fresher pastries & perhaps some fruit. We won’t be staying there again.

The Green Lantern Inn is authentically sublime.. Upon arrival, we were 'graciously welcomed' by Ms Augustina, whose kindheartedness epitomizes the Inn's hospitable nature.. Captivation defined via serenity of a misty morn'n shoreline stroll..

The property looks lovely from the outside, with a beautiful garden and a great location. However, the interior of the room was disappointing and in need of a complete update. The bed frame was broken, the space felt cramped with little ventilation, and the bathroom was outdated with low quality toiletries. There’s no air conditioning, only a fan, which was unfortunately dusty but did the job. If you’re not particular about comfort and style, it might be fine, but otherwise, it leaves much to be desired.

Property was a cute Carmel cottage, however when I booked our room I didn’t realize how low the ceilings were. I am 6’ and had to watch my head while in the room due to its low ceiling height. The overall property is very nice, clean and very well maintained.

Lovely inn! We stayed for a wedding close by in the valley. Great place to stay for an easy walk to a really cute downtown.

We had a one-night stay in the middle of the week. The area was quiet and cozy and super walkable - we didn't touch the car until it was time to leave! The room was exactly what we needed for our quick stay and well-located. Sound travels a bit easily, especially footsteps from the next room. But the water was warm and the sheets were cozy and clean. Would revisit.

We thought the executive suite would have a bit more space. They oversold the second bed which was a futon. Otherwise it was a great stay!
