If you want some peace and quiet in a forest, this should fit your bill. Room itself is fine and the bathroom is functional. But aside from the restaurant on the first floor there isn’t much of anything else nearby.

It was a decent budget hotel. Clean enough.

Hotel is in a beautiful natural setting, with even a serious forest hiking trail departing from the upper-rear of the property that connects to trail network. Very comfortable room. Small, quirky convenience store a short walk away.

It was good but I can hear other people talking over door

Excellent option in town. I stayed at other places before in Cheongju, but this is definitely a better option. I would absolutely return to this hotel: easy parking, very close to a wonderful mountain and not too far from the city. Loved it.

Located in middle of forest. Close to major tourist attrations (museum, mountain tracking, small spa) but a way from the city. Obviously for healing and refreshing. Breakfast was decent enough and considering its price,it is almost unbelievable. the room is large enough :) 위치가 산속입니다. 좋은공기에 산성길 (산성이 아닌 옛 차가다니던 산성길)이 바로앞이고, 청주공원이나 박물관이 바로앞이에요. 차를타고 산을 넘어가면 유명한 벽화마을도 바로나옵니다 (차로 7분? 10분?).단, 위치상 도심지와는 거리가있어요. 조식은 금액을생각하면 혜자스럽습니다. 요거트, 빵, 스프와 국, 계란, 밥, 간단한 반찬 및 과일까지 기본적인건 다 있어요... 이 이상바라면 그냥 벽화마을 카페가면될듯

Well-situated property near nice trail in the woods. Quiet, friendly staffs, and nice breakfast for value. Would definitely visit again.

The facility was very clean and the surrounding was so lovely filled with woods. Additionally it was only 5-minnute away from the city centre.

Very quite neighborhood but a little bit far from city center

The room was interesting and cozy. Staff didn’t speak English, but that’s not a big deal. The bathroom didn’t have an enclosed shower, it was right beside the sink...so the shower water sprayed into the sink and you keep bumping into the sink. The drywall in the ceiling also needed to be repaired. Very minor things though. Overall the hotel is very nice. The location is a bit far away from anything. I thought this would be nice, but the hotel kitchen was closed so we had to drive into town to get food. I’d recommend getting something in Cheongju unless your going to the zoo/theme park nearby.

Really clean and nice place. The local area is ok but I didn’t have much time to explore. I would recommmend this hotel for a nice clean place to stay at a reasonable price.

I had a late check-in, so I cannot say much about the hotel interaction. The check-in was the easiest because I was just handed my key and my ID was checked. The beds are clean and comfy. The surrounding areas of the hotel are beautiful but there is not much in terms of things to do or things to eat. I would recommend a stay here if you have a car.

Located in the middle of nowhere and the doors are not in good condition!

It was relaxing. Staff are polite and eager to help. There aren't too many other hotel options, but we definitely didn't feel like we had to settle for something less than we were accustomed to due to lack of options. The hotel is located in a bit of a secluded, wooded area, so having your own transportation is probably recommended. It's a really good location for people who like to hike, as is evident by most of the guests you'll encounter there. The area is very quiet, away from highways and in the woods, and the guests are generally older groups of hikers.

Very comfortable place to stay. Close to the fortress so good for hiking but quite a distance from town and hence somewhere to eat and/or drink

It was late when we checked in so the restaurant was closed and there were no others nearby - fortunately we were able to get takeaway delivered. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Nothing to find fault with at all really. I'd certainly go back next time I'm in the area and will recommend it to my colleagues.

The hotel was way out of town. However we, there was good taxi and bus service to get me where I needed to go. If you carry a T card it makes paying easy.
