The staff are very friendly, explained in detail, the location is a bit in, the parking is spacious, the rooms are okay, there is a swimming pool, the breakfast is delicious, complete, at night the atmosphere is very romantic, the lights are cool, overall very impressive

Not peak season, so there were few guests. Swimming pool was clean and large enough. Room is clean and large, comfortable enough, but quite spooky.

My first impression was that it was just another aging resort. However, after checking in, I stepped into the bathroom and was hit with this incredible natural incense aroma. To be fair, it’s a little weathered, the fish ponds are quite mossy, but the raw beauty of the place, the deep shade of the trees... it feels so nostalgic, like being at Grandma's. A truly impressive experience.

The pillows are hard. There's no SDB. The AC is too small for a large room.

Very homey, with a comfortable and beautiful atmosphere, friendly service, easy access, a spa, gym, and swimming pool. I enjoyed the swimming pool yesterday.

After all the chaos I had to deal with, I came here to pause, breathe, and recharge; and yup, Kayu Arum gave me exactly that. The energy here feels so calm, so peaceful. But, not everything was perfect though; there was a big lizard in the bathroom (my biggest fear 😭), a frog in the pool, and a few caterpillars in the garden. But honestly, the staff handled everything so quickly and kindly. Still, such a beautiful experience. Hope to be back someday ✨

The hotel's style resembles older hotels in the Nusa Dua or Sanur areas of Bali, with Javanese architecture and grandeur. The challenge is avoiding the smell of dust or mustiness in the rooms. It might be a bit intimidating for the faint-hearted. Overall, it's pleasant and welcoming.

The natural and traditional atmosphere is really there

The atmosphere is beautiful, the pool and gym are clean, and the staff are friendly. Every time I visit Salatiga, I always stay at Kayu Arum.

The staff are friendly, I didn't expect the hotel to be so nice & big, there is a pool table, chess, etc. You won't get bored at the hotel because there is a lot to do.

I came here on a motorcycle, carrying a delivery man's bag 🤣 and it was pouring rain. Luckily, the security guard on duty that night didn't underestimate me, riding a motorcycle carrying a delivery man's bag like other hotels/resorts, who often have frowns or suspicious expressions. The security guard even helped dry my wet raincoat and escorted me to my room after I got the key. If you book a standard room, you get a free upgrade to a superior room. I've been here many times, but only yesterday finally got the chance to stay. I really liked the beautiful garden and the unique ornaments around every corner. The swimming pool was clean, the rooms were spacious, and the bathrooms were spotless. This is one resort I highly recommend if you're visiting Salatiga. Oh yes, there's a full spa service too. The restaurant here offers delicious food and very affordable prices.
