This was a beautiful hotel with immaculate grounds with beautiful gardens and a large, clean swimming pool. The staff was very helpful with tourist information, and the free breakfast was quite good

The traditional breakfast was wonderful (and free!). Hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. Wifi didn't work from the room, but was very good from the courtyard. Bed was comfortable. Lovely place to stay.

Hotel Casa de los Sueños is a pretty little 8-room hotel located on a quiet street, close enough to the centre of Antigua, but away from the bustle of Parque Central.

Mixed review for this B&B. Lovely courtyard, nice colonial décor, comfy beds. Dusty, moldy, noisy rooms. Rooms we booked were not available first night: one room had only a king size bed (we booked two double beds), the other room had no garden view. Make sure you have your reservation printed, other guests had issues as well.

Lovely stay in a big room with nice decoration, peaceful garden, colonial style. Enjoyed my stay at Casa de los sueños. At breakfast there could be more choice.

I am quite familiar with Antigua but never had stayed in a hotel there - this time my wife and I were looking for a nice hotel near Central Park. La Casa de los Sueños exceeded my expectations: The location is great, only 3 block from Central Park, near San Francisco Church, close to restaurants/bars; The architecture of the hotel is the typical colonial style and grounds are well maintained; Private parking is available free of charge; Staff is friendly and helpful; Wi-Fi is available but you need to get close to the front office; It has a pool but we didn't use it; Breakfast is included and we liked it - traditional local; Noise in the streets was expected since the hotel is located close to restaurants/bars but it got very quiet around mid-night. If you are looking for a quiet place then you need to look for a place farther from Central Park but then you will miss being near the main attractions. I plan to go back and will recommend this place to friends and family.

Located close to shopping, restaurants and close walk to many tourist attractions. The room was clean and comfortable with amenities like bottled water, coffee maker, and TV. Wi-Fi was also included, however, the signal was weak and service was slow. Hotel has a non-heated pool for cool dips with a beautiful courtyard. Breakfast is included and served strictly from 7:00 to 8:00 am. The street noise and other guests can be easily heard in your room so not recommended for light sleepers. The staff are very professional and helpful. What I like most about this hotel is the historic setting and location. What I least like was the restriction of one hour only for breakfast and that outside nose in the room.

Our stay was just two nights, but worked well for us. As it hosts weddings, it might not always be quiet.

This bed & breakfast hotel has a nice facilities but careless, for example: the walls need to be paint, the curtains at the bedroom need to be replace, the hotel floor need attention. There is no bellboy that can help with our luggage. The room and the hotel was clean.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, quiet and peaceful, with a delicious typical breakfast. The pool was a little too chilly and the free wifi only worked near the front desk, but overall we enjoyed our stay!

I do not think that it was worth $100 per night. It is certainly overpriced.

Stayed for 2 nights in Sepptember 2015. At end of our holiday before returning to UK.Location was great, close to center with cafes and excellent Spanish restaurant a few buildings away. Staff were excellent and very obliging.Lovely pool and gardens. House is original colonial style with large rooms and old furniture. Excellent room with bath. Breakfast included. We were in a room on the front which was a little noisy in the morning from about 6 a.m.Quiet at night. probably better in a side room, Overall excellent value and comfort.

I have been travelling to Antigua for several years, and I think I finally found the perfect hotel! 1. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and accomodating. 2. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful - a traditional courtyard, colonial-styled rooms, very beautiful and comfy. 3. The pool, while small, was a great bonus. There are several small gardens on the property. 4. The location was perfect - far enough away from the center plaza to be quiet, but close enough for a quick direct walk. 5. Trying to sleep in Antigua can be difficult because of street traffic, roosters, etc. this was the beat sleep I have ever had. The street was on the quiwter side, and no roosters nearby. My only suggestion would be to avoid room number 8. I stayed on two separate nights and had two different rooms. The first night my room was along the street, and as i said, the street noise was minimal. The second night I was places in rm 8, which is on a second floor right behind/above the reception desk. While the volcanic view was beautiful, and there was no street noise, I did get a little disturbed by the doorbell ringing in the middle of the night and other guests entering and talking loudly. Overall, this experienced Antigua traveler highly recommends this hotel!

Tired and feeling lost, you encounter the worst reception in this hotel. He never greeted us, smiled or volunteer tourist information upon our arrival. His name was Porfirio, he never introduced himself either. I found out his name later. We were so tired to argue with him. i felt more comfortable asking around to strangers than asking this person in our hotel.

We have been repeat customers and this is the first review. This last time, theirreservation system, again, did not jibe with Expeda's. They let us enter Expedia on their computer to show the reservation. For the inconvenience, they gave us the master suite and let us check in at 9:30 am. The grounds and rooms are in the Antigua style, a nice breakfast is included in a beautiful surrounding and the service is very accommodating. We will certainly stay again.
