Great hotel and friendly staff. I was there as a part of a group. The other group members had rooms off to the side and the space was very nice, great gardens and green space, and quiet. My room was in between the outdoor restaurant and the buffet / event section in the back. Lots of noise starting at 6:30am and sometimes going till 9pm. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Only complaint is the noise, especially in the morning.

I stayed at Hotel Santa Catalina and overall, it was an okay experience, but there were a few issues. The hotel is well-located — it’s close to everything, and the staff is genuinely kind and helpful, which I really appreciated. However, the room could use some improvements. There was no hot water, so I had to shower with cold water. The WiFi didn’t work, which was frustrating. I also found a bug in the room, the TV was outdated, and the bathroom mirror was placed too high — I couldn’t even see myself properly. If you’re looking for a basic place with a good location and friendly staff, it might work for you. But if comfort, functionality, and amenities are important to you, this might not be the right fit.

Very close to everything, I loved the hotel very unique.

You definitely cannot beat the location of this hotel! Our room was spacious and clean. The rooms are spread around the property so I'd imagine you have different experiences depending on where you are - ours was in the restaurant others were less central which may have offered more quiet and privacy. The fountain in the entrance courtyard is beautiful and our kids enjoyed the playground while we had meals on the back terrace. The restaurant is excellent and makes dining super easy. Definitely an all around great experience! A wonderful stay in a wonderful city!

I love the property, is an antique,colonial style it has wverything you need close to park, center of the cuty very safe, clean ecological the only problem i had was the noice around property and people bring dogs barks all the time . if you wsnt to relax is not the rigth hotel .But is great for children .

The pictures on the website are photoshopped because the reality is sad. This Hotel is overpriced you can find something better and cheaper.

You could not put paper in toilet so room was smelly

The hotel is nice but they were mosquitoes or another type of fly in the room and; it didn’t let me sleep during the night. The hot water will go off in the middle of the shower

Great stay but there is no air conditioning which was the only flaw. Other than that, great stay & great staff

Great hotel! So close to everything, friendly staff and easy check in and out. The only minus it has no AC it can get warm inside the room.

I was very disappointed with our stay. We were put in a room next to their store room so there were people always getting stuff from there. The room was full of bugs and the bed was very hard.

What’s easy to go everywhere

Room wasn’t clean , and bathroom is in bad condition

It is an historic building and they want to keep it as original as possible, to us it looks like they have 3 parts for his hotel, the main one has a bit more of noise and activity, the second part has the garden and it’s more calm, and the 3rd part it’s more quite and private like a vip, it has a different entrance away from the main entrance, it is in our bucket list to get a room there for the next time we come. The whole staff is amazing and they always welcome you, they have live music on Fridays, maybe over the weekend too, not a o sure.
