Beautiful spot. Only shame is that breeding seagulls seem to be have given the best part of the island.

This is the most wonderful experience! Cockatoo Islsnd is so wonderful to explore, but combining it with overnight camping in an on-site tent is the best. We arrived earlier in the day and were able to leave our bags so that we could walk around. There is so much to see and do. We had a lovely lunch at one of the cafes, pizzas are delicious! We then checked into our tent. It was supplied with fresh linen and towels etc. We bought some wine from the cafe and self catered with our own cheese platter (camp kitchen has fridges etc) overlooking the beautiful harbour as the sun set, it was magical. If you ever have the opportunity to do an overnight stay, just do it. We loved it!

Cockatoo island is a great place to explore the history from convict settlement to early 2000s when it closed. I had a very nice time there.

Beatiful view with very private place. Still a lot of old heritage building looks terrible.Not much to walking place due to old building. Surounding area not feeling good or safe.

Whether was ok , it rained a couple time but still had a wonderful time. Love the vie it was a magnificent weekend. Will come back for sure.

Some people were bit noisy around the camping area

Tent was a bit cramped and sweaty and at night it was cold.

It was really good. The only point for improvement is to not put the people who bring there own tents so far around the back.
