Some small issues with maintenance

Apartment nice, building a little tired, carparking awkward, wonderful view, wonderful location

I left a pair of my designer sunglasses in the apartment, and couldn’t find it, thought I left in one of the shops while shopping. Shortly after we checked out, I received an email asking if we left my glasses behind. Very professional and honest. Greatly appreciate. The place and clean and gave me a welcome vibe! I highly recommended.

Location of the property was excellent. Lots of dining options within 1 block. Furniture was tired however. Leather on sofa was cracking. Requested the two single beds in second room be made into one, although this was done, they remained two beds with 1 cover. Most accommodations have a mattress pad linking two beds together. The mattresses should be replaced, springs are wearing thru. In summary, stay for location, not for the bed. We provided our guests the main bedroom & received no complaints

We will be back, loved being able to walk to a number of good places to eat. The room we stayed in was very clean and well appointed for a holiday apartment. Richard who manages the place very responsive. We highly recommend.

The accommodations were nicer than we imagined even though the air conditioning in the master bedroom was not working well. The location far exceeded our expectations and our stay of 4 nights could of been 2 weeks to take it all in.

Very disappointed with this property. The suite was outdated with mould in the shower and bedrooms. Kitchen cabinets were falling apart. Holes in the wall in the bedroom. Shower rusted. Smelt damp. Some of the lights not working. Did not feel like cooking here kitchen units smelt damp. Only 1/2 a toilet roll provided Other than that good base for day trips

We were impressed with the space, decor and cleanliness of the property but had a few issues. First, there was a leak of some sort in the bathroom. We mentioned to the manager but nothing was done. Next bugs! They came in under the sliding patio door! Lots of them! Lastly the dryer stopped working. The manager responded promptly to emails but nothing was done to resolve the issues. Granted the dryer was only on the last night. Still, 3 stars is generous

Apt was clean. Kitchen supply was good. Beds comfortable. Location was amazing… in the middle of a great area for dining. Only negative was the smoky smell in the place upon arrival

Older property which had been renovated. 2 pools below expectations. Close to restaurants. Well equipped kitchen.

Great place to stay in Cairns

Everything was great - unbeatable views, great location, comfy beds. Only thing that was not good was that the carpets needed cleaning or replacing.

The view of the property is great! The location is also great - you can walk food and shopping within steps. The main issue I ran into with the property is communication and maintenance. The shower did not drain in the master bath so I emailed the property manager and they said they would come and fix it right away but they did not. Also, the dining room chairs were not stable at all. One just fall apart when my wife tried to site on it. (my wife is a petite size.) It is a huge liability - not sure why they would keep using them. I also messaged them about it and it was not fixed during our stay. Also, there is no tissue box anywhere in the apartment and they provide only one small piece of soap per bathroom. So, you need to bring soap or just buy them locally. These last two problems are not huge issues but a pain when on vacation.

Stay at this property was good/average.There were some few issues which was resolved quickly by the team. The major issue is the ants which the property’s manager has to deal with, just cannot say out of their control because of the warm weather. Property location is the best.

Great stay, will definitely be back

The accommodation/building was older but nice and clean. Besides the ants in the kitchen coming out of the stove top. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were clean. The view from the balcony was beautiful, you could sit out there all day!

There is no reception, nowhere to leave luggage, and the communication is poor. I got a text message saying to text if I need anything and when I sent a text they never replied. The apartment is old. There were broken drawer handles, the sink drained very slowly and the toilet flush button got stuck regularly. On the plus side the view was amazing

Beautiful apartment stunning views great location walking distance to everything! Owners were very generous in letting us get in early due to our early arrival in Cairns. Highly recommend

We had a great stay at the Cairns Aquarius for four nights. We recommend it highly to anyone staying in Cairns.
