I was particularly concerned that my credit card was taken into a separate room at check-in. Most irregular. It is hard to know if the property is being redecorated or just in a permanent state of decline. Cabinetry was falling apart, shower door was unhinged. New bathroom door was 1/2 painted. Windows were filthy. But .... new vinyl, carpet and microwave. Cleaning solution smell was overpowering. Plates were dirty in the cupboards. Don't think I will be staying again.

Parking was next to a derelict car. What can I say in favour of the room? The lamp shade was nice. other than that the room was appalling. The room was very smelly, old, tatty, damaged worktops, damaged shower, no Jug/kettle, no hairdryer. Amenities were very basic. Curtains were tatty. The staff were unhelpful. The lady who gave us the keys insisted on taking my credit card details to cover "incidentals" The photos in their brochure is of a new block. We were put in the older rooms which need bowling over.

Needed Vacuuming very bad, TV antenna connection did not work, shower filled with water as not draining well. Room was nice and everything I needed, just a clean up mainly was lacking

There was no staff at the reception area for both the check in and check out

The room was clean and cool. My only issue was the front desk was unmanned (due to a holiday) and in order to check in, I had to call to get a key code. This was not obvious as the signage was "We've stepped away for a bit, but we'll be back shortly". Another guest came over to tell us to call. Otherwise the stay was nice.

The rooms smelt very musty like an old persons house and the shower was terrible. Couldn’t get the right balance between hot and cold at all. I paid 150$ a night and it was worth about 60$ a night just absolute shocking. One time while I was out they cleaned my room and made my bed but forgot to lock the door. I had hundred of dollars worth of gaming equipment in the room and they just forgot to lock it. The place is a 3 out of 10 and o would only recommend staying here if it’s absolutely necessary.

We booked two studios. The location is excellent however the rooms have a lot of issues. We had broken drawers, no tea towels, no facecloths, no toilet roll holder, broken towel rail, expired milk sachets, no storage in one room, no sky but sign says has 60 sky channels, broken light switches and power outlets were disfigured, dirty cups, dishwashing liquid in Pepsi and Powerade bottles, 1 pillow each on bed per person. If you want a cheap motel to just sleep overnight and spend little time in then that’s fine but really needs some TLC and updating.

When we arrived they had no record of our booking even though we had paid in advance, they put us in a room that looked nothing like the pictures online and smelled damp. Advertised as having 50+ sky channels but not in our room. No hair dryer, the coffee maker was an electric jug. Not great.

Poor communication between staff in terms of checking in. Facilities aren’t up to scratch. Best thing was the Sky and Shower.

I am particularly fussy about hygiene and it looked like the shower hadnt been cleaned properly nor the handbasin

Smells of Mold, old used soap and pubic hair in the shower, mess on the carpets and a general feeling of grottyness. It's like a concrete garage. The customer left after one night, yet they got paid for two nights. We would like a refund. This property is falsely advertising with its pictures and write up.

The motel had spacious rooms and was close to Petone Shops.

Convenient.. a few things could be updated but had everything you need... comfortable and warm room/bed... good shower

Convenient and a reasonable price

The host was welcoming and the unit was tidy. It was an older part of the complex but the room was suitable for an overnight stay. I have stayed here previously in the newer units which are nice. Unfortunately, the hot water did not work which was frustrating for showers in the morning. Hopefully that was fixed after our stay.

Good little area but the room that was given to me smelt musty n dusty everywhere and the shower was still dirty. Plenty of parking but cleaners coming through at 5pm was not it.
