Lots of thoughtful elements by the managers made this stay quite unique. The property is aged but so well maintained. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Was an older apartment - the owners had added nice touches to room, like mini bar honesty boxes and little additions. The air conditioner in room struggled to warm room.

Easy to find in a good location with so many thoughtful finishing touches, including welcomes cookies and weather info for the following day. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us but we still managed to walk to the beach and we will return if we come back to Australia

Such a happy, welcoming motel! From the beaming friendly staff on reception to the home made cookies in our room and the chocolates on the bed! Lots of little homely touches around the room, I especially loved the native animal pictures. We also enjoyed sitting up in the comfy bed watching complimentary Netflix on the massive tv! Thanks for having us!

We stayed 2 nights. It was very clean tidy and quiet. Bed very comfortable and great hot water. Little extra touches of home made cookies and a chocolate each were much appreciated. Would recommend a stay .

Nice place to rest for the night! Staff were helpful and even left a couple of cookies in the room upon arrival with a lovely little welcome note. The room was clean and free parking onsite right outside it was great. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable as you could feel all the springs and any slight movement, but manageable for one night. Good location walkable to town / beach, but far enough that the surrounding area was quiet.

Was very refreshing to stay in a “family” run motel - they certainly gave you the personal treatment & little extras - will hope to stay there again soon 👍 definitely give them the thumbs up 👍

Had a lovely overnight stay in Sandbar hotel on route to Sydney. Friendly staff at check in and little extras like cookies, personal hand written note and little gifts to take with you were an added touch. Facilities in room were perfect and bed very comfortable for an overnight stay. Room well equipped if you want to make breakfast or light meals.

For a last minute booking, we were pleasantly surprised. It was affordable, clean, with a comfortable bed, pillows and linen. The added touches of homemade cookies with a handwritten note, face cloths for makeup removal and a hair wrap,were so appreciated as was the surprisingly affordable mini bar.

You can tell it’s an older motel but it was a wonderful place to stay. It’s easy to see the care and thoughtfulness in the design of the room and the little extras like homemade cookies on arrival ☺️

Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Greeted with home made cookies and nice note. Very pleasant if anything was requested. Within walking distance to the beach and town. Really enjoyed our stay. A little dated but that’s fine. It was clean and comfortable. That’s what matters. Very nice people.

The motel welcome us with a surprised home made cookies. So gratedful for the little gift.Great way to win more customers! Tableware are well chosen just as the expresso coffee machine, feeling home away from home... There are plenty of dining options close by . We also enjoyed the walk along the lake , right in front of the motel. The only downside is the bed size is a bit small for us.
