location of hotel was conveniant.. Room was clean,,,,Was okay for my stay...A no frills kinda place

The room was clean and fresh. Electric blanket did not work but heating was fine - it was incredibly cold when I stayed. service and staff were great - the bathroom was just a bit tired. Would I stay there again - yes, it is very conveniently located.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The electric blanket in our room did not work, which was particularly frustrating given the cold weather. The hot water in the shower ran out very quickly, leaving several family members having to shower in cold water. The bathroom exhaust fan was also ineffective, causing the room to become excessively steamy and wet. As a result, our personal belongings, including our hair dryer, became damp from the moisture. Another major issue was that all accommodation rooms were located upstairs. At no point prior to our arrival were we advised that we would need to carry all of our luggage and belongings up the stairs. This information would have been important to know beforehand, particularly for families and guests with mobility concerns. Overall, the accommodation did not meet our expectations, and we were disappointed by the lack of comfort, maintenance issues, and poor communication regarding accessibility.

The price is reasonable and the location is convenient for traveling to Ballarat. If you’re going to Sovereign Hill, it’s only a 5-minute drive. The staff is nice.

Clean room and comfortable bed. Nothing special. Would’ve been great if there was a toaster in the room which is a staple of all motor inns these days especially when you’re self-catering on a Sunday morning for brekky. There were limited breakfast options on Sundays in a town like Ballarat.
