Good hotel

Room was clean. Had extended check out. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Great spot close to Shoreline shopping centre too

The check-in folks were fine but Hotels.com had booked me in for the following day despite sending me a confirmation for that day. Total disaster from Hotels.com I had to find another hotel

Staff were courteous . Room info lacking . I thought they did breakfast but apparently not at least not before 9 when I left . Room was very tired

Nice room but the shower leaked badly. Good meals except for the Fish of the Day I had terrible food poisoning and had to cancel my plans for the following day. Let the staff know and the manager was supposed to contact me but didn't.

Great dining and drink options onsite and all around. Nice location close to the beach where we walked and watched the sunset. Nice staff.

Extremely basic place to stay. It’s a few rooms attached to a casino/bar/restaurant. Staff was very friendly and the food was good in the restaurant. Laundry was free. Airport was a 15 minute drive.

Beautiful meal and service

We stayed here at the end on June so it was cold. Our room had no heating, and no electric blanket on the bed. We had to take the quilt off the other bed to prevent freezing. The hot water is turned off at night. In the morning, magically there is hot water again. I had to boil the kettle to get hot water at night. They came to fix the heating on the second day, but they did not care about the lack of hot water at night. In my dad's room the toilet seat was very wobbly and could not be tightened up. We told them about that on the first morning along with the heating issue, but no one came to fix it while we were out all day, so I had to call again that night. When the guy came, he said the seat was incorrect for that toilet. Dad is late 80s, and not that steady on his feet so that toilet was dangerous. I wonder why whoever cleans the rooms did not do anything about an obviously wobbly toilet seat. The second night we came back from a day out and both of our car spaces were taken up by other cars. We presumed this was by patrons of the hotel as those parks were near an access door to the lounge and bar. Don't waste your money staying at Shoreline Hotel they do not even have the basics despite advertising.

Walked in for check in, and not only was the process effortless, the lady at the counter was excellent. She made recommendations after I told her my plans, and it made the trip so much better. Parking was wonderful, I parked right infront of my room, the room was perfect..only issue was the hot water seemed to have a personality which resulted in me having a cold shower. Dinner was delicious, waiters were excellent. Next morning I discovered a Banjo's next door, and a supermarket.

The Shoreline Hotel is primarily a restaurant / bar facility with 12 hotels rooms on the back of the building. To get there you have to drive pass the dumpsters and a package liquor store which is attached to the building. The front desk is not really manned but they will find someone that will help you. The hotel room was quiet but a bit run down and we did not walk on the carpets as it looked like they could use a good cleaning. If I were to return to Hobart and Tasmania I would recommend finding accommodation a bit closer to the city and something a little nicer. In two weeks of traveling through Australia this was the only facility that we would have changed.

Good mid range accomodation. Showing its age in quite a few areas with an obvious skirting board in need of urgent attention. Staff were excellent and bar and dining areas well cared for and our “snacking”dining was very good
