Having lived on a similar rural acreage for close to 40 years we had some idea of what to expect. This stay far exceeded our expectations, a stay of only two days. Upon arrival instantly approached by the host, Robbie, a most charming and obliging host. There is nothing that is not supplied in the way of food, beverages and household amenities. To arrive there is as much as arriving at home. Top marks for Robbie's hospitality. 5 stars!

We really enjoyed our stay at Wildwood Guest House in Mudgee. The setting was peaceful and the slow combustion fire was absolutely fantastic — perfect for a cosy evening. Unfortunately, there was no TV, which was a bit disappointing, especially as the listing mentioned Wi-Fi, but it wasn’t available. If you don’t have it, you really shouldn’t say you do. That said, the host Rob was fantastic — welcoming, helpful, and a real highlight of the stay.

Amazing place. Beautiful surrending s, this is a little gem. Hosts are informative & lovely. We were so pleased with this place. Wildlife & birds abound. Will be back for much longer stay. Anyone who stays will be happy. Try the wine. Fantastic

The host Rob was terrific and very helpful. The property was very relaxing and different to what we normally stayed in. It has a huge dining and lounge area and the area around the property is very beautiful and relaxing.

All the positive glowing reviews are correct. A beautiful and special place. We feel very lucky to have spent just a little bit of time there.

Beautiful property and the house had everything i it that you could need or want for a lovely time away. A little bit tricky to find the turn off- a small sign on the tierney lane signpost, but it was getting dark

This is a lovely spacious property. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the wineries.

Wildwood is conviently located just outside of Mudgee though centrally located to all the vineyards and only a short drive to the restaurants in town. The guesthouse is set back into the bush along a dirt road. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quite taking frequent walks into the surrounding countryside, we spotted mobs of kangaroos, red-neck wallabies, countless birds and an echidna. The daily cooked breakfast was also a delight and a great way to start the day!  

The propertry is excellent, a hideaway that is bereft of TVs and anything electronic. HOWEVER, WiFi is advertised and not available, and for us that was a deal breaker. I cannot speak highly enough of Rob the host. Lovely gent,

Luxurious space. Very large shared common areas, beautifully furnished with a wood burning stove.

A little piece of Heaven on Earth! Rob the owner was so inviting. Made us breakfast every morning! Enjoyed watching the kangaroos in our backyard. Wonderful escape from the bustling of the city life.

Such a cosy space with wonderful people and love the decor. Would definitely come back!
