No aircon. Very small bathroom facilities. Power went out so fans couldn’t work. No air in toilets. Not a good option on a warm day

We arrived mid afternoon and the hosts were waiting for us to show us where the apartment was. Beechworth is a historic and exceptional town. Will go there again!

The staff were really helpful and kind. However, our room smelt mouldy. When significant rain occurred, we discovered why. Water began pouring in where the ceiling meets the wall onto the carpet. When we called staff to assist and we thought likely fix the leak, or at least attempt to, they said "what we normally do is put a bunch of linen under the leak", piling sheets and towels under the downpour. This is when we realised this wasn't a one off occurrence and it was likely the source of mould in the room. No room change or discount was offered. Just the pile of linen.

Great location and an interesting building to stay in. Not a luxury resort but very clean and comfortable and so full of history. Also a great location - easy walk to town

The sign out front is slightly confusing in that it says something like "Old Priory Camp". But checkin info was right there on a table inside the front door. Stayed in one of the Miners rooms (around the back) again a few seconds to find the access, but clear instructions provided to follow, Very nice rooms. Check out the shower!

Great history and has a hogwarts vibe. Kids loved the kitchenette area for game times. Couldn’t get the full experience with the bad weather. Next time!

We enjoyed our stay and found the staff helpful, suggesting where we could secure our bicycles overnight in the bike cage. It was an interesting old building and I would have loved some more info on its history. The only down side was that the breakfast muesli was stale

We stayed in the Miners Room 1. It was really good, I’d stay there again. The bath tub under the shower is weird and probably doesn’t need to be there… The wall between the 2 rooms is brick but sounds like it’s paper so hopefully your neighbours go to sleep the same time as you. The are only teaspoons available so if you take food and you need a knife or fork make sure to take them. I’d definitely stay again though. For the price it’s comfortable.

Quirky place, not your typical motel/accommodation. Overall it was OK but lots of room for improvement. We stayed in the miners cottage. Half the channels on the TV didn't work, the air con was temperamental, and the shower was like standing in a bucket with curtains. Also found it lacking with simple essentials such as plates and cutlery.

Nice place to stay reflecting on the history of the building. A good nights sleep, very quiet location with parking out the front. Breakfast available complimentary was basic but enough: tea/coffee & milk plus toast / cereals provided. I'd stay here again for the beautiful peaceful location.

We stayed in the Miners Cottage with a bathroom for 1 night. It was very clean and quiet. Good walking distance to shops restaurants etc. I recommend The Priory as a convenient stopover or short stay.
