Casa Nostra Motel was a great stay for the price paid. The location was very central to Mackay City, couldn't be better really. One thing to note about the location is that it seemed to be under the flight path which could be quite loud, but with minimal flights to Mackay that was barely an issue. The facilities were quite rusted and aged, I would assume this is due a lot to the high humidity in Mackay. None the less, having a small fridge and microwave was very useful for our stay. The room wasn't cleaned daily, even if I had put up the sign, but that was fine with me. Towels were refreshed when the room was cleaned. The service was very hospitable by the cleaners, reception and owners, no complaints.
