Stayed overnight. This is an older style motel which I understand is gradually undergoing renovations. The room we had was one of the original downstairs rooms with parking at the front door which is so convenient. It was a spacious room with a comfortable queen and 2 singles, good aircon plus a ceiling fan, a small dining table, a very old bathroom but it had a nice hot shower and soft towels. The room had sliding doors onto the garden area that has magnificent views over the river and out to sea, a great spot for an afternoon drink taking in the views. As they are planning to renovate I can understand that everything in the room is old and in need of replacement, so it will be lovely once updated. We found it very quiet and clean and with the RSL only a few steps away for dinner it 's a perfect stopover. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
