Breakfast was simple and delicious. We loved the close and easy access to the Old Port Quai and the old town. Tiny rooms, smaller than I expected given the info on Expedia, but the bed is comfy, the shower is good and being close to the restaurants and the Old Port was a definite plus!

We spent 2 nights here. Bit of a stressful start as Guestadom had given us the wrong instructions of how to find the key but after a quick phone call it was sorted. Nice clean apartment, traditionally furnished. Close to the restaurants and shops. It has 2 bedrooms - a really big main bedroom with a double bed then a smaller room with twin beds. Nice living room and kitchen area with a balcony overlooking some gardens. Loads of storage and everything you could need - dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave and loads of crockery and glasses etc.

Wonderful hospitality in a fantastic location. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and well cared for. I enjoyed my stay immensely and will visit again. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel, great location, great team

Perfect location close to the port and excellent restaurants. Small room and bathroom but really stylish and extremely comfortble bed. Everywhere in the hotel was immaculate, quirky and beautiful. Reception and all staff spoke English and were very helpful with information and suggestions. We used the disabled room by reception which made accessibilty care free. Our little dog was made welcome and was very content in the room. Breakfast served fron 7.30am and was fresh and excellent quality. We stopped the car outside to unload/load but finding the car parks with space was a little difficult. Worth it to have such a wonderful location

Very nice hotel right next to the centre harbour port area. Very friendly english speaking staff. No car parking but lots of city parking fairly close. Will definitely stay again when in La Rochelle.

The people here we're lovely and very helpful. The place is a stones throw from the marina and lots of restaurants. Our bed was hard, towel radiator in the bathroom was rusty.

We visited for a week as a family with our 14 yo son. La Rochelle is a great place to bring kids. The hotel is very well placed for the Old Port, restaurants, the beach and other attractions, all very walkable - we visited the Aquarium and the Maritime museum and did the Fort Boyard boat trip. We had the room for 4 with the balcony - which was a bonus, though there is some other outside space too. The room suited our needs - with comfy beds (a sofa bed for our son) and nice shower and only a short flight of stairs. The staff were all friendly and helpful. If we ever go back, we will very probably stay there again.

We stopped in La Rochelle for a night on our way further south. The location is perfect for walkable access to dining and the old port. The hotel entrance and lobby is very nice. There’s also an outdoor courtyard with chairs if you want to sit outside and read. Our rooms were in a separate building at the end of the courtyard and the rooms and bathrooms were fairly small/tight and felt more like 3-star rooms. Staff was friendly. Parking is offsite but only a short walk away (unload bags first). No elevator in the building where our rooms were (we had one ground floor and one first floor room) - no problem for us though. Rooms had AC which was great! It was hot the day/night were there.

Close to harbour area, 5 min walk. Parking nearby, reasonably priced. Room was clean, quiet.

Due to a festival and road works we were unable to get to the hotel without an 8 minute walk. Staff pleasant and hotel standard was average. Items that let the establishment down was the lack of tea and coffee in the rooms, very small flat pillows and the lack of lift to get luggage to the upper floors.

Excellent hotel in a superb location, just round the corner from the main harbour area. Secure motorbike parking available for 10€. Would I stay there again?? Definitely.

This is a quaint small hotel with breakfast included. The man checking us in was very polite and friendly. He advised us on parking (city parking nearby and at the port just a couple blocks away) and about restaurants and tourist opportunities. Our room was quiet and efficient with good bedding. Breakfast was complete continental and the same man who checked us in made sure we had a good breakfast including soft boiled eggs, cold cuts and plenty of breads. Parking was a bit anxious at first but getting to the port turned out to be a good choice. We would highly recommend this hotel. Note, there is no elevator.
