Enjoyed our one night stay. Great location by the river, lovely walk up through old town, but also walks along the river. Breakfast was very good, lot of variety. Will definitely stay again.

Loved the hotel and its location. Very accessible to the Port restaurants. I appreciate the hotel’s drive to be more eco-friendly but didn’t warm too well to the room light going on automatically when visiting the bathroom during the night. Likewise the frosted window between the bathroom and the bedroom. Not helpful when one is a light sleeper. Everything else was fine

Well located, very easy to walk around. The rooms were clean and confortable. The breakfast was great. The staff were friendly as well.

It’s convenient for what we wanted . We had a very pleasant stay and all the staff were great.

One of the most enjoyable locations - nautical, good choice of local dining amenities. A pity it no longer runs its own restaurant for dinner - breakfast was good.

Chose this hotel for the pool, but all the loungers were taken when we arrived and you have to go into the hotel to get a drink from the bar. Cocktails are a poor impression of the real thing but are reasonably priced. Room was too hot in summer nights and the air conditioning couldn't cope. Needs toilet brushes, and the bleach stains all over the hall carpet replaced. Good parking and friendly staff and a great view over the river.

The hotel is perfectly placed, well run, fabulous design. We enjoyed it so much for a winter break that we barely left the place, great for food, drinks, and chilling out. Lovely helpful staff too.

Loved this hotel. Comfortable room with king size bed and little outdoor seating area. They have a great swimming pool and a big indoor hot tub we really enjoyed! There is also a wonderful bar area with outdoor seating overlooking the pretty river with boats parked or going by. So picturesque! Stroll down the river a block or two and you come to the street going up onto the charming town. The street is cobblestoned and VERY steep but a free shuttle bus makes rounds periodically. There are so many restaurants around and a bakery. More up into town. The hotel breakfast has a big selection but you do everything yourself and it takes forever to figure it all out. At 18 euro I would skip it. Parking was free at the hotel and there was plenty of it. The hotel is tucked away but is well signed so we had no problems finding it. The entry is on the side away from the parking lot. Can’t go in the back door. Overall it is an excellent hotel in a beautiful location. We would certainly stay there again if we were lucky enough to return and met many people who came often.

Clearly a relatively new hotel, the room was very spacious, especially the bathroom which was one of the best I've seen in hotels in my price range. Pool was good too, very welcome as I arrived on a hot day. Bike storage was also provided with no issues, Secure but is outside. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet and very good. Only issue was the room window had just a net curtain which made it feel a bit exposed when in the room with lights on at night.

A lovely relaxed stay

Only observation is that one has to be a bit of a gymnast to use the tub/shower combo. Room tended to the small size but reasonable.

Clean and comfortable room. Great staff. Location is very nice. The main town is up a long hill but it is one of the prettiest walks you will ever take. The pool was great as it was about 100 degrees.

The parking was easy to access and above ground behind the hotel. The breakfast was fabulous. The location was ideal with many good restaurants nearby . The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

We liked the location on the river with several restaurants within a 5 minute walk. It was a bit of an uphill climb to the center of town but worth the walk. Hotel staff was pleasant and very helpful. The rooms could use refreshing.

Once again the staff in reception were exceptional I cannot thank them enough for there help. I have stayed here a few times now and have always had great service, food is good location quiet.
